This fourth quarter is clearly about to be insane. Abdul carter and Tyler Warren are the best two players on the field. But Allar is really bad.
I feel like Allar had more potential franchise qb buzz on some mocks I saw than beck. Just based on physical traits and potential. Both are astoundingly mid.
Also, the first wiped out INT was definitely a good call, the second one was interference by definition but I don't think you can throw that flag in that spot, and somehow that throw was only Allar's second worst decision of the night
For the record Harrison Wallace got charged -3 for the final play so PSU WRs finished with -3 receiving yards on 0 catches
Good game ND. Thankfully I have a full day of travel to agonize over this. Incredible that Penn State continues to find new ways to lose in such agonizing fashion that it still crushes me. Congrats. Hell of a game. Big win.
That was a great game to be at. Hell of a win by ND. also hard rock is the most inaccessible stadium I’ve ever been to.
I said last night that young man was determined to give ND a pick, and he kept working at it until he achieved his goal, even though the refs didn’t want it to happen.
Looking back, I think this thread was more enjoyable being a thread full of sandbagging and overreactions than a thread full of people talking about their dumb little sports bets
It’s impossible to compare two teams that don’t play the same schedule, perhaps it’s even more useless to try to do the same for entire conferences? The rules are set before the season when strength of conferences is a complete unknown, if you want a buy you need to win your conference. If not, tough luck. Number of losses and conference winners is probably the most consistent simple metric you can hold a team to year to year. Take the SEC >> chip out of your brain bud.
One of the announcers said Freeman made ND likable and I had to agree. Loathed them under Kelly and found myself pulling for them last night. Seems like a good dude.
you keep posting this about the calls 50x doesn’t make it true. They were clearly the better team in both those games. Miami had the #1 offense in college football with the best QB. They also had one of the worst P4 defenses. Basically impossible to predict how they would have matched up with an Indiana or Tenn in a one game scenario.
I'm sure it didn't matter in the grand scheme of things, but I was screaming about this last night when it happen. what the fuck is the point of this.
incredible, you go after that kick with everything you have. That is a weakness for nd, they had trouble blocking on fgs all year long. Nd got like 4 fgs blocked
I hardly posted during the game, don't think i posted until the 4th qtr. After the game I said I think ND loses in the finals and ND fans melted down, forgot about the game, and only wanted to argue with me. ND fans are the ones that only wanted to talk about me.
I honestly only cared about ND winning last night because of bets. That being said. Franklin losing and reminding people that Frank Beamer, Virginia Tech’s GOAT coach, was 1-21 vs top 5 teams, is a delicious added bonus.
ND fans took offense to you saying they don’t deserve to be in the Title game. I don’t think any of us will contend that Ohio State probably wrecks us if that’s the matchup. You’re revisionist history’ing this again.
You say it's impossible to compare 2 teams yet that's literally what ranking them is doing. The committee ranked the top 25 but bc of the dumb format it bumped 8 and 9 up to 3 and 4 seeds. Thats silly. If you can't see that there's 2 conferences that are much better than the others, that's on you. Comparing the BIG to the Mountain West is comical. Just rank the teams and go play. No auto seeds.
I never said they don't deserve it. They won their games. I said the seeding was bad and you took offense and spun that into something I never said.
Indiana thrashes Clemson bc Wes Goodwin calls defense like BudKilmer touches boobs that is to say, poorly.
