Assuming you're in Tuscaloosa, I called the Walmart here and they said they would have Junky Stars out by or berfore midnight.. Also, Bingham is playing on Lettermans show tonight
Just listened to all the samples.. going to be very different from what we're used to from Bingham but I think its going to be a hell of an album
Damn, thats impressive.. I've never heard of anyone from Birmingham that listens to Texas country... Im from Houston
I stumbled upon some Boland and Robert Earl Keen one day then people started talking about it on here and turned me on to Bowen, Creager, Randy Rogers, Doug Moreland, Kurt South, Chris Knight, etc. I'm going to see Wade Bowen in Birmingham after the Duke game pretty pumped about it. Downloading "Direction of the wind" off Binghams new cd. The sample sounded good.
Download Phil Hamilton and The Backroad Drifters.. I just found out about him the other day, can't stop listening to his CD
http://www.myspace.com/philhambackroaddrifters Go there and you can listen to his CD he has out on itunes
fuck walmart and their terrible music selection. just went there, and they had neither the ryan bingham album or my boy's new album, and he's from memphis. wish best buy stayed open 24 hours. oh well, i guess i'll just have to go there later on today
i may do this later when i have more time. does downloading from Amazon work just like downloading from any other website?
Listened to it last night and a little on the drive to campus today, have had Hallelujah stuck in my head all morning.
Cory Morrows new CD blows.. Whats new, hes gone downhill just like his friend Pat.. Fuck those guys.. Forgot about their roots
all about the money man. whenever those guys headline their own concerts, they play very little if anything of their new stuff.
Yea, thats unfortunate because those guys used to be legends back in the day.. I still love their old shit, but their new shit is like listening to nails on a chalkboard
New Bingham CD is great, like said above, Hallelujah is the best. Someone have a link to Chris Knight's Trailer Tapes? Have been jamming to that on pandora, such a great CD.
Just watched Jamey Johnson talk about his new cd which comes out the 14th I think. Jamey and Bingham releasing so close to each other is great
So glad to have found this thread. I started listening to Bingham and Randy Rogers over a year ago then just recently was given some Wade Bowen CD's. Great stuff. I'll definitely have to check out CK and some of these other guys.
Whoever mentioned Phil Hamilton and Backroad Drifters, . Great find. I don't typically buy albums off iTunes, and especially after buying Bingham's last night, but I'm gonna have to make the sacrifice if I can't find this one anywhere. They're damned good.
Appreciate that man.. I get bored every so often and spend an hour or so searching around on itunes.. Usually I come across the same ole shit, but not that time
You can listen to his whole CD if you google Phil Hamilton and The Backroad Drifters then go to the myspace page of his.. But he is worth spending $10 on.
Will Hoge "Even If It Breaks Your Heart" Wish this guy would make his way back to the Wormy Dog sometime. Oklahoma Breakdown My fellow OK posters know all about this
