I think 352 would be fine. The fullbacks would just be wing backs and we can use all our CBs. Not saying I think it's a good idea or will work, but it would make some sense
The youngsters at fb and de Jong(even though he's gone) would work well in that system but what do we do with our already overcrowded midfield? And who would play up top? Benny in a reserved striker role? I don't want him that far out of the action. Who else? Peterson? God no. Also, de Jong, anor, and okugo didn't report to camp. Anor loaned to minn fc. De Jong and okugo not officially off the team yet but they're off the team. I think that puts us at 26/28 for the roster and imo Hallisey and Salloi should go to the Rangers. No clue what these guys are planning for this roster.
Drew 2-2 with Columbus today. Kei played vs the reserves and put up 2 vs our 2nd team. Mustivar and something called a Hajderovic scored for us in the 2nd vs their reserves. Sounds like Timmy had some good saves in the first. We had some good link up play. And Jake missed a sitter (as always)

No. If you want to be good in mls you don't need to rebuild. DC went worst to first in 1 season. We have plenty of spent and depth in our back 2 lines and Vermes can coach defense. There has been a dramatic shift from the draft and signing DPs to fulfill needs to build up the SPR and academy and build the club that way. In the long run, that is what's best for SKC, mls, usmnt. If we take a step or two back while we grow the academy. In fine with that.
Two things have been driving me insane this offseason. First, our roster construction makes no sense to me. We have a ton of midfielders and outside of mapp none of them are ideal out wide. Benny, Zusi, Jordi, Davis, Roger, Olum, Mustivar they're all best suited for central mid either attacking or defending, that's a 1/3 of our roster right there. And for the 4-3-3 to be most successful you need some width somewhere. Sure you can keep your mids packed tight but you need width to keep the fullbacks honest and to keep bodies off Dom. And we have no striker past Dom. Maybe this Hungarian kid is super legit but please. I don't want to see an attack featuring Peterson up front. Second I'm just beyond annoyed at Heineman and is constant "huge signing on the way" tweets only to be followed up a month later with "oh, that player, didn't work out, figured you guys forgot"
He's a wide player in the same sense that zusi is. His left foots great but he's slow as balls. His best form like 3 years ago he played centrally more and dictated like Benny does for us.

I just read that every mls loan has an option to buy so that sounds better. When I knew I was moving back to KC a year ago I signed up to get on the list. I got a call from someone thanking me and letting me know I was added. The retention rate is north of 98% iirc. No way anyone outside the top 500-1000 ever get added until we expand.
I didn't think it was that high? For whatever reason I thought I saw that if they were over 10k they would begin looking to expand the stadium.
Robb said in an interview a month ago that it's up to 11k. Last number I saw a couple years ago was like 7k.
