    I found out yesterday that my son's very first Christmas program is the 16th. Looks like I'm going to a Friday night show. No worries. Might stay up in Louisville and watch it Friday night and Saturday morning.

    well as in specific thoughts, or if it was good?

    It was good, entertaining. Didnt really move the story forward in terms of Ezra's development or anything

    is this movie really going to be so big that we need early tickets?

    I mean, The Force Awakens obviously needed it, but is Rogue One projected to be that big? I mean, I never pre-ordered tickets to, say, an Avengers movie. Is this movie going to be bigger than that?

    I guess I always assumed it'd be big, but not that big.

    It's going to be huge, but it may not have record Thurs or Fri numbers. It's going to take a little word of mouth but people Wil come, Ray. People will come.

    Early box office tracking is projecting a $130 million opening weekend which is considerably lower than TFA and the Avengers movies. I think it'll be higher.

    Totally fine with no crawl. keeps the main story episodes unique.

    I'm more upset that EP8 will apparently pick up right where EP7 ended. that's not confirmed I don't think, but if so that's a big departure.

    Fandango and my local AMC are teaming up to make sure no one gets tickets. Due to some error, all of the 15 showings on Thursday are showing up as sold out, even though they haven't even sold a single ticket yet.

    Funny story...

    I'm standing there first in line at the ticket counter. About 3 minutes before they go on sale, the ticket clerk says "uh hey man can you standby for a minute after you get your tickets. I want to get my own as well."

    So after I get my own, I put them in my wallet and tell the guy "oh yeah and also I wanted to get those other ones (wink)"

    There were at least 50 people in line behind me.
