Holding off on getting tickets for now; I'm working nights shift that week and I need to see who I'm working with. I'm probably going to roll the dice and get tickets to a midnight show and just hope I get off work a little early.
I traded in my old version of battlefront for 5 bucks and Best Buy had the ultimate edition on sale for 20 bucks, so spent 15 basically to get the season pass/all the DLC's
I'm on chapter 8 I believe. I had no free time during the entire holiday week but read a couple chapters while waiting for tickets to go on sale.
Had to drive roundtrip from NOLA to Hartsville, SC over the holiday, which allowed me to finish Ahsoka and most of Catalyst. I have not been a big fan of audiobooks for non-fiction (which was virtually 100% of my reading before I became a nerd), but am now a big fan of the Star Wars audiobooks.
There are a shitload of references to the prequel movies and Clone Wars cartoon. However, I dont think theyre a must to read the book.
Finished Catalyst. I really liked the nods to the Clone Wars and I'm a big fan of Krennic. Can't wait to see Mendelsohn in the role. The book isn't necessary for Rogue One but I'm glad I read it so I'll know some of the dynamics between characters going into it.
Press got to see 28 minutes of Rogue One last night and everyone is raving about it. You have to take these situations with a grain of salt because Lucasfilm picked the parts of the movie the press saw but it's still encouraging.

Dont open until after you watch. Not really spoilery to the plot or anything, but JIC Spoiler There's one in the last scene where it appears that someone with a lightsaber is cutting down a child. At first glance I thought Revan, but really looks like an Imperial Guard, which doesn't make too much sense.
