Sounds like Bojan is pretty much gone. Bummer because I feel like he's going to blossom into a star and we are going to pay a shit ton a few years down the road to get him back.
Zap he went to west ham from hoffenheim in January and scored like 7 goals in 13 games Name is demba Ba
Essien is 28 and looks like he's wearing down and gets paid a boat load plus I guarantee he doesn't wanna play for Tottenham and Tottenham have no need for him. Put that in the writer pulled that out of his ass department.
"Udinese's Giampaolo Pozzo apologises over Sanchez saga, which is still not finished as he says Barca have not yet agreed a deal" :|
just take him. Our president isn't going to pay the money needed to get him, and I just want the whole thing to be over
Materazzi has ended his contract with Inter :( speculated he will either move to a club in England or the USA, then take a role at Inter once he retires
Villareal and Valencia are solid teams. Villareal has Rossi, Nilmar, Cazorla, Capdevila, Marchena, Ruben, and Senna. That is a talented team that would do well in any league. Same with Valencia, though they are dropping off a bit. Malaga can definitely finish top 5 and also fight for a CL spot, but it isn't as easy as you are making it out to be.
Speaking of Senna. He's in talks to move to Swansea City. At 34, about to be 35 he's obviously on the descent of his career. Would still be a good pickup for them though. Dude was a beast at Euro08
Malaga won't be challenging for top 5. They don't have the local talent to do it and don't have the appeal to do it.
Coming from a faggot like you that's a pretty big compliment, thanks. This is the same kid who a day or two ago said, "The rafa years were a lot of fun that we probably didn't deserve to have." Really? The winningest (at the time) of all time team in England was lucky to win one CL title and no EPL titles in 7 years? Are you that fucking dumb? The answer is yes and people like me and numerous others give you a pass quite a bit because after reading your dumb posts for a few months we realize there is no hope. Yes Villareal would have done well in ANY league in Europe last year. They knocked Napoli who finished 3rd in Serie A out of the Europa League and they also beat Leverkusen who finished 2nd in the Bundesliga. They lost in the semis to a good Porto team who won it all. You're familiar with the Europa League right? You know the league where Liverpool and Man City got knocked out in the Round of 16. Teams who finished 3rd and 6th in the EPL. Yep a team with studs like Rossi, Nilmar, Cazorla, Capdevila, and Marchena would have gotten their ass handed to them all over Europe. Just stop being a faggot for once.
You're just another group thinker.... I'd love to see you make an argument that Villareal wouldn't have done well in any league in Europe last year. Seriously go for it guy.
Isn't Villareal in financial shit? They are gonna have to sell their few good players, how do you expect them to compete for CL
A lot of teams in Spain are having financial troubles. Valencia is supposedly the one in bad shape. Though I'm sure Villareal are too. Even if they are, they have quite a few guys who could fetch them big money like Rossi, Lopez, Nilmar, and several of their Spanish NT players. I'm sure they would be ok enough financially to replace those guys with quality talent. They are also in the CL next year as well, so they should be able to attract talent. I just love how a faggot like Watson tries to call out me for saying they would do well in any league. Note the line "do well". That doesn't mean compete for a title, just means compete for a European spot.
They are in financial trouble. They aren't selling their top players just so they can replace them with that money. They are in debt. The profits from their sales will go against their debts. They aren't in nearly as good of a situation as you seem to think. That goes for both Valencia and Villareal. And many other teams in Spain. Why do you think Getafe swallowed the pill and rebranded themselves? Massive debt.
Just to be clear we are talking about the same team that lost 12 games(in a top heavy league) and finished over 30 pts behind the the top 2 teams right?
Facepalm=An attempt to put someone down without being able to do so in their own words. Shits weak Thanks again for proving how fucking dumb you are. You do realize that Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher entered their prime right around when Rafa took over right? Stevie G is only one of the greatest players the club has seen and carried that team. Nice attempt to pull an anomaly like Schalke who also won the DFB Cup over Bayern, in addition to being a CL semifinalist into the discussion. Not relevant. Villareal beat the Serie A 3rd place team and Bundesliga 2nd place team over two legs. That is no anomaly...
Never once said they would be top 4 in England. Only dumb asses with no reading comprehension would think that. Thanks for proving you have no fucking idea about soccer. Suarez and Aguero are 10x better to run a 4-3-3 with than Ashley Young and Stewie Downing. Are you fucking serious? The two withdrawn attacking players in the 4-3-3 formation are much more attacking mids/strikers than they are wingers, therefore Suarez and Aguero are far more suited for that than what Capello played.
My goodness, your dumbness knows no bounds....Just stop for the sake of ruining the thread. You said Liverpool hadn't done shit in x amount of years...Yea and they didn't have an in prime Gerrard or Carragher in those years. Guess what year Gerrard became a fulltime NT starter? 2003/2004. Go look at his career goals and tell me that his prime didn't start around 2004/2005.
Watson is Googling the hell out of the internet to try and find something to corroborate his claims. Dude is really on edge right now.
Wish I could, but I've got to jet for a little bit. When I get back I fully expect a thesis from Watson on the variations of the 4-3-3, Villareals debt problems, why Liverpool was lucky to even have Rafa Benitez as coach, and what haircut he expects Lucas to have this fall.
Lets turn it into why Barcelona wanna overpay for every player they buy but won't ante up for Fabregas.
Once again Villareal didnt even compete in their own top heavy league. They were 32 pts back and lost 12 games(a number to shit teams). I dont think they would have got a CL spot in England, Germany, or Italy
why dont we find something that we've talked about before don't want to wade into those uncharted waters
You know that competing for a "European" spot also means Europa league right? Really grasping at straws here...
