Inspired by the come from behind win that I woke up early to watch, I've decided to make an official Sunderland thread. I'll probably be talking to myself but whatever. Next 3 games: Dec 18-@ Spurs-10am EST Dec 21-@ QPR- 3pm EST Dec 26-Everton- 10am EST Currently sit at 16th so we need to pickup points wherever possible.
Up 2-0 on QPR, blow the lead, then Wes Brown scores on a corner just before stoppage time. Crazy game to watch but we got the points so I'm happy. Also congrats to Lee Cattermole on his 50th yellow card of his premier league career.
Freaking awesome, wake up watch the game for 10 minutes and you guys score in the last 20 seconds to win!
Just watched the recording without knowing the score and what an ending to make the hour and a half worth while. I definitely thought City was going to squeak in a late goal and then all of the sudden we won. Great start to 2012.
You guys are balling out lately, dropped 4 on Wigan today. Moving up the table pretty well since the manager change, positive GD on the year too.
Yeah its been great since O'Neill has taken over. And James McClean has been fantastic, as well as Sess (as usual).
Looking good today, great play by Sess on the 2nd goal. He headed it home and it was hilarious watching the Norwich goalie yell at his defense saying "He is only this fucking tall" while holding his hand like 5 feet off the ground lol.
Was in class so I missed it but I was following along on my phone. Can't wait to see the highlights. Up to 8th place now with a game against 9th place Stoke on Saturday.
Middlesbrough-Sunderland into extra time in their 4th round replay. Sucks that they will be tired for the weekend because they have been playing well and would probably knock off Arsenal if 100%
Niall Quinn stepped down as chairman. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/1024514/niall-quinn-leaves-role-at-sunderland?cc=5901
