Not a huge fan of earthling or alien. Just a time eater while they do crowd interaction and try different combinations of band members playing together. No actual jam substance
These two JJ Cale songs Spoiler And these two David Bowie songs Spoiler have been on heavy rotation for me lately
Watching the crowd is hilarious. I dig how 75% of the male crowd just went shirtless. And everybody is skinny.
The fact that Trey composed and wrote out the sheets for every part to classics like Foam and Melt when he was 20-24 years old is mind boggling to me.
Have y'all head of the band Frute? I just stumbled upon them yesterday. The vocals are pretty shitty and lyrics are cliché and juvenile, but the music is pretty fucking awesome so far.
Some Neighbor of anyone wants to check out. Pretty good stuff. Skin it back opener which is a great Little Feat song
Here is their latest song they release earlier this week. The jam in the last few minutes is pretty solid.
Goose posted the 50 plus minute Western Sun > Echo from 6/15. the 30 plus minutes of Western Sun is some of their best work.
Pretty dope set from up coming band Eggy. Wireless is a great song. Also CSN cover of Carry On is nice.
Goose last night was amazing. Also went to Kitchen Dwellers late night and Peter and Rick came out for some Dead covers. Round 2 tonight
I do think they could’ve moved Seekers to open set 2 because that Arcadia was insane and a perfect set closer
Turned Clouds one of my favorite songs. Not much of jam vehicle for them, but the lyrics and song is just awesome
Also mind blowing that in Dec 2019 Goose was playing Cervantes other side which has a capacity of maybe ~200-300 and last night sold out a 7k venue
I’m starting to run into random people that listen to them I like seeing 4 song set. Excited for this one to come out
Dug into Eggy over the weekend pretty hard. Dudes can really jam and have a great sound. Vocals are meh and the song writing is good, but not great. However, jam wise they get down as good as anyone. Fun to watch them and I’m a big fan now
Still looking for 1 Arkansas tickets and 2 Oak Mountain tickets if anyone here has the hookup. Cash or Trade seems to have picked up the past few days just need to be on top of it.
It’s tough out there man. The pent up pandemic demand is real. Brother and I had to custy up for Alpharetta, but there’s nothing that was going to keep me from being in that pit.
Well this is pretty cool. Never seen any of this before. About ten minutes of backstage stuff before the show
Any of you guys catch the Panic show last night? Second set is probably in contention for best single set they've ever played, highlighted by a "Happy Child" bustout -- first time played without Mikey, hadn't been played since Bonnaroo 2002. Had to catch up today because I foolishly watched Cheese RRX instead last night. Setlist in spoilers. Spoiler Set One: Ribs & Whiskey, Wondering, C. Brown, Wreck Me, Dyin’ Man, Chainsaw City, Hatfield, For What It’s Worth Set Two: Slippin’ Into Darkness, Greta > Life During Wartime > Driving Song > The Last Straw > Happy Child > The Last Straw > Happy Child > Driving Song, Genesis > Arleen > Chilly Water Encore: Vacation, Porch Song Notes: – ‘Slippin’ Into Darkness’ LTP 4/27/19 Trondossa (41 shows) – ‘Happy Child’ LTP 6/22/02 Bonnaroo (1143 shows…1st since Mikey) – ‘Ribs & Whiskey’ rap in ‘Arleen’
Funky as hell. They brought him out as they went into the jam in "Jellyfish" and honestly couldn't have picked a better spot. He went to town on the B3 that Hollingsworth has up there.
The transition from clavinet -> B3 then the choreographed flip Kyle and Peter did with Peter ending up on electric piano and Kyle playing off him on the B3 was amazing Kyle also tried to play the Keytar about half a dozen times before they could get it to work lol
Since last weekend I’ve seen Goose x2, Billy and the Kids, Kitchen Dwellers x2, and Cheese Man it’s good to be back in Colorado
Got my Rogers and Oak Mountain tickets lined up, just gotta hope the opener tickets get here in time. First tour opener for me. Also first back to back shows for me (not counting Lockn). I'm a real Phish kid now.
Jokes on me for even using Facebook, but I joined El Goose and Phish Tour fbook groups and woooo boy is the shit posting on there impressive. Makes even the worst posters on here look above average
Does Phish cancel their shows in Arkansas and Alabama? Or make a vaccine requirement? Seems irresponsible to be having a show in Arkansas right now
