Granted, I always enjoyed the laid back feel of Frostproof even more.
Frostproof is all right, but as they say: “It all feels stale until you live in Auburndale.”
ATL - originally from the Gulf coast so psyched to get back to the water
All I know about Lakeland is they have a great high school football team....I shall remember those who are responding with fuckery!
Y’all trying to get me killed
Grady Judd resents that
He only cares about busting kid diddlers and then letting eneryone know that he busted them.
Lol Bartow. Why there when you can live in Valrico? The Charleston of Florida I believe it’s called.
You're telling me...
Went to Parts of Paris....was really good
Then I got yelled at trying to decide where to get a drink because "it doesn't matter where we go I can't drink"
Now I'm sitting at Buffalo Wild Wings next to Spectrum Stadium
I’ve never been to Parts Paris but have heard good things. When is the Pirates game at home?
Where is the best place to eat near Bradenton tonight? Don't mind driving a little bit if need be
For pizza you could go Oak and Stone, which is actually where I told you to park and walk for the game. You will however walk past Loaded Barrel Bar, which is my favorite but that is more dive bar’ish for Pizza. Also try the food at Motorworks Brewery if near stadium. As for a “good” restaurant in Bradenton, my buddy opened a place. En Rich on Manatee Ave. Probably 10 min drive. Sit at the bar with Jason.
The area by the stadium is nothing special. Bradenton is in Manatee County and the only thing worth mentioning in Manatee really is Anna Maria Island.
If you are willing to go to beach that changes things. I have many options, depending on how much you want to spend. Some really great food out there.
killerwvu i edited my post a few times. I thought you asked for pizza originally. Go try En Rich.
Do I get a TMB discount?
Ended up parking at Motoworks
Get $2 off my tab after the game
Nice. I’m at the courthouse, so right by you. I like Motorworks but I would probably go to a different spot for dinner though.
I was eating at Goody Goody Burger and Luis Guzman randomly walked by.
Wish I saw this before I would have come down and comped a beer for you
You live in Bradenton?
Lenny's Restaurant is so good
Yes it is. I'm not a big breakfast person, so I always forget about that place. Love their knish.
I live in st Pete but I’m the director of sales at Motorworks
Congrats on the dog cans.
and you cross the skyway in that van often
Pretty much every day. I put some miles on that thing for sure
Thanks. That thing took on a life of its own. 2M+ in tv spot equivalent alone
Expanding to Orlando, right?
Yeah got the build permits last week. Should open in April. Downtown on orange
Just got a text alert:
TAMPA FL: Mayor Castor & local health officials are closely monitoring the COVID-19 case reported in Hillsborough Co. Details: bit.ly/2I9Cm0n
RIP former neighbors
Next statement will be "the infected adult spent all day Saturday at the Strawberry Festival"
How was your trip?
If you want to roll the dice, TPA to Vegas $27
What kid friendly stuff is staying open (a dolphin swim, manatees, etc?) in the area? Obviously my planned day for the 5 yo at Disney is now dead,
For today? Busch Gardens is still open as of now. Glazer Children's museum and Zoo Tampa as well.
Be the week of the 23rd. I know it’s impossible to know now. Just curious if anyone has any Disney substitution recommendations
Oh, gotcha, yeah that's hard to tell. Hopefully 1 of the 3 options I listed are available. There's also Florida Aquarium, Clearwater Beach, MOSI, and Adventure Island. The beach is probably your safest bet to be available 10 days from now, but if I was planning a day to entertain my kids, Busch Gardens, Zoo Tampa, and Florida Aquarium are where I would probably start. BG can be an all day thing, the other two you'd knock out in a few hours. Bring a towel and clothes he can get wet in to all 3.
does he drink? let's take him to the bar. maybe bring our own high chair.
She only drinks crystal. Not sure the Duck has that.
Welp, scratch Busch Gardens. They're closing the park for the rest of the month
Working from home with kids at home the next two weeks will be fun.
Thankfully both my wife and I have been told to work from home.
I work for the school system. Not only will I have my kids, but possibly 3 sets of neighbors kids as well for people whose jobs might not shutdown. I told them I'm charging $40 and a roll of toilet paper per kid per day.
Just ordered Off berns new takeout menu. Excited they are offering it.
Pinellas finally closing beaches tomorrow.
The public backlash was too strong for it to last until Monday.
