Spent 9-1 to day in the yard raking oak leaves (that I already took 4 bags out last weekend), mowing, and weed eating, then putting down weed and feed and watering in. Felt almost like summer. Also inhaled probably 900 lbs of pollen
We don't have a huge backyard, but have a massive oak that shades the whole thing. Love it for the shade, but it's so messy. I use the big industrial bags. So far this year I'm up to 12 bags out. It's windy and raining oak leaves so I'm sure I'll be back out there next weekend
Just raked all the pollen that my neighbor's overgrown oak tree dumped on our lawn yesterday and it's all back again today.
Lived in Carrollwood with four oak trees for four years. I averaged 60 bags a year of leaves. Moved to Lutz ironically and I have 10 palm trees with no leaves.
I’m on that pace. Also might be living the Lutz life soon since our kids school will be up there next year.
Great schools. Same as South Tampa at 1/2 the cost. That being said we’re likely doing private school. FML.
As someone not vaccinated they need to open this shit to everyone. Hundreds and hundreds wasted each day, if you're 60+ or at risk and haven't gotten your first shot then it's a personal problem.
CVS has an insane number of appointments available. I booked one for Wednesday at the one on N Macdill. We’ll see if I get through.
Are you at risk or anything? I was gonna start calling pharmacies this coming week about getting on whatever kind of no show list they're doing.
No. My wife is. I do volunteer at my kids school and am inside the school multiple hours every week. We’ll see if they even ask. I haven’t heard of anyone at a CVS or Walgreens be hassled about it.
True, like everyone else in a suburban area I'm within a short drive from like 30 Walgreens/CVS so I'll start calling on Monday. Castor should absolutely take some authority and get more people vaccinated, fuck wasting anything at this point tough shit.
I work for a medical software company in the area, and I got the shot at a local CVS last Sunday. I called the CVS vaccine support line (after scheduling the appointment online first last Saturday morning) and explained that I work at a medical software company, but I'd selected I'm a healthcare worker and asked if I should bring a paystub as proof or some such. The guy on the phone gave zero fucks: "no, just bring your driver's license and proof of insurance." Got there 10 minutes before the appointment time Sunday afternoon. The front check-in desk girls simply asked me for my name and appointment time, and after they found me on the list subsequently asked for my birthdate. Done. They never even looked at my driver's license and insurance card. Was in and out in 35ish minutes, but 15 minutes is you sitting around afterward to see if you have a reaction to the vaccine. Bring your earbuds and surf TMB. Fuck Ron DeSantis, go get the shot. https://www.cvs.com/vaccine/intake/store/covid-screener/covid-qns
Got put on a stand-by list for my local publix in case of excess doses/cancellations, got a call three days later (last night) at 7pm telling me to be there by 8pm 33, no priority, and got my shot
maybe... or they are just easily entertained. but they didn't say they didn't like it, just said it was underwhelming compared to what it could have been.
Which one of you is walking around original Carrollwood with your wife dressed like it’s 34 out? Yes they are both wearing hoodies, beanies, and she is wearing GLOVES. A frigid 64 degrees out.
Negative We were out at redington yesterday and had to hang at the pool all day for to getting sand blasted on the beach We were eating dinner when it rolled through and then took 90 mins to get home
