3.9 stars on Google Reviews? Big yikes! Lots of 5 stars, but most of the poor reviews seem to mention the service. It's always disappointing when restaurants with good food/drinks/ambiance have bad service. There's a place near my house that I go to for trivia nights that I mostly avoid on other days due to their slow service. It sucks because I like the food and the staff there is nice. It took us 30 minutes just to have a server come to our table last night.
Brew Bus moved out of their location on Florida and all the brewiing is happening at their new place in Wesley chapel. They are opening a tap room right up the street across from blind tiger before you get to chop chop shop Fucking angry chair is moving into brew bus location in January. I honestly could cry
Timpano in Hyde Park recently put up reopening signs in their window. They gutted the whole interior so I’d venture to guess they won’t be reopening until Fall.
Not sure how it measures up to these places, but Shaker & Peel in Oldsmar is pretty good. They're not traditional Mexican style tacos though, if that's what you're looking for
Just seeing this - sorry. couple good places - the Overton, boca, circo, station 400, bricks bbq, south side deli, and spice station to name a few.
Crowd was incredible tonight especially the last couple minutes, my ears were ringing in the car after. Third Stanley Cup final being played at Amalie starting Monday...can't fucking wait.
Everything seemed really tense/nervous till they took the lead. It just feels crazy remembering how far things have come from sitting with my buddy on our front porch in South Tampa listening to the radio as the Bolts lost to the Flyers and laughing at the name "Daren Puppa".
Moved from Tampa when I was 7 so my memory isn’t as clear, but was that the arena in the cow pastures off I-4?
Lots of limbs, some trees down in my hood. Wondering if we got a tornado around 3:30. It was crazy wind
Downtown in comfortable walking distance to Amalie you've got Sparkman's Wharf (kind of an upscale outdoor food court), Yeoman's Cask & Lion and Hattricks. They'll probably all be pretty busy. Don't know what kind of place you're looking for, but if it were me, I'd probably go somewhere in Hyde Park village and then figure out a way to do the last mile and a half to Amalie (drive, walk, uber, scooter). Or go somewhere in Ybor and take the street car directly to Amalie.
looks like ulele has a few tables open still. I’d say there, or armature then hop over to street car from in front of hat tricks
Had to take that today to drive my dad to Carrollwood, wasn't too bad in the rain but I can imagine it's terrible during rush hour.
