holy fuck, that’s a top ten win for FAA! Lol just realized He crept in this week.
Raonic takes the first from querrey
Milos gets the win!
Never change Kyrgios. Loses 6-4 6-4 to Kohlschreiber
Wasnt too hard to predict that
Yeah, I know, but still.
Lots of tremendous matches today
Fed breadsticks Gojowcyzk in 24 minutes.
Fed battles back from a break down, wins 6-1, 7-5. Serena-Muguruza up next.
Garbine takes the first set 6-3, and Serena appears to be hurt. Has called the trainer.
Serena does not look good. Sick more than hurt it appears.
Serena retires at 3-6, 0-1. Hate that, hope she’s ok. Doesn’t look right at all.
Super easy win for Andreescu. Gets Wang Quiang next in a section that has opened up with no Serena and a quarter with no Sloane.
She’s got all the skills. So excited
Can anyone break down this current spat over Kermode for me? I just finished watching Federer’s interview on Tennis Channel where he said Rafa came to his house yesterday and they had “a long talk” about what’s been happening with the Council and what needs to be done going forward about growing the game among other things.
Shapo gets the win
Thought that was a good interview from Roger. Glad he’s going to get more involved.
As for an explainer, here’s a good breakdown.
Thanks for that link. Interesting that it’s basically a split between a North American faction and a European one, with Novak leading the former.
Jesus Genie nice Twitter post
Shapo gets Cilic.
Tomorrow’s going to be fun. Fed-Wawrinka, Cilic-Shapo, Nishikori-Hurkacz, Rublev-Khachanov, Nadal-Schwartzman.
whoa...what? whats happening to centre?
Raonic broken serving at 4-5, and Giron takes the first set.
who is this Giron? ive only heard of him once before this tourney whoa
Im so happy I got the teenagers to cheer for now. Because he is so damn annoying to be a fan of
Quick google search. 25 year former NCAA single champion at UCLA. Looking at his matches, it looks like plays the USA Challenger events.
He’s had a bunch of injury issues, I believe.
Dude has had two of those hip surgeries where they shaved the bone down because they were tearing his hip labrums. One on each hip. Unreal he’s back playing at this level.
Milos finds a break.
Milos gets broken and then blows a 0-40 chance to get back in it.
Not sure how Milos won that one, but he did, despite his best efforts.
Looks like he tried every way to lose it. If he plays like that next Sasha will kill him
Speaking of which..........Sasha is turning into a wet fart.
He’s defending Finals points in Miami. Needs to figure his shit out asap.
I was posting and trying to draw a comparison to the majors but I couldn't come up with that. Just the wet fart line but I'll stick with that. I also was thinking Nick but I couldn't do that to him.
FAA takes the first set 7-6. Nishioka frustrating him a bit tactically though.
FAA can't find his serve, and he's going 3.
Collins continually impresses me. I’m not a USA boner guy and could care less about nationality in general. Just trying to say her being American is more of a knock in my mind, than something that makes me enjoy a match.
This is tough to watch. FAA broken in 5 of his last 6 service games, just has completely lost it.
She's got a real edge to her personality and to her game. Rubs some folks the wrong way, but I really like her too.
You nailed it. Didn’t realize why I liked her but she’s a definite psycho from a personality perspective. Love it.
