Re: Zombies Pretty excited for this. Just watch the whole trailer, AFB. It actually looks good. Personally, I can't wait for them to put World War Z on the big screen. Might have to be a couple of movies, though.

Re: Zombies It is based off of comics and I think the comics were written before 28 days later was made. So perhaps they stole the beginning from the walking dead comics. anyway, the very very beginning is a moot point. It is a zombie tv show. I don't think anyone has ever tried doing that before.

Re: Zombies Since it's a semi-horror show, what your opinion of Supernatural? I came in during Season 4 with low expectations, but liked it enough to watch Seasons 1-3 as well.

Re: Zombies this looks awesome. Supernatural is my "chill out" show along with Burn Notice and Leverage. I have a brother with a similar age difference of the boys on Supernatural so that show hits home on a level in addition to being just a solid all-around show. Could definitely see how it might be considered lame by some, but I think most that watch at least 4 or 5 episodes can see that it is indeed entertaining. edit: just read the other 5 eps after the pilot will be directed by the same person who did Breaking Bad. this show could have serious promise.
Re: Zombies No one was butthurt, but I think people were trying to figure out why you wouldn't watch the whole trailer based on the beginning, that's all. Either way, I'm looking forward to it. It seems like they could stretch this into a pretty good series.
Re: Zombies Looks cool. Jon Favreau revealed a new project that looks pretty cool. It's called Cowboys and Aliens. He was talking about it on the Stern show, its pretty much an alien invasion during the wild west. Anybody know anything about it?

Re: Zombies I was THIS close to picking it up at the Atlanta airport because I had just finished World War Z on the plane, but I didn't want to overdo it with the zombies. I'll have to check it out.
Re: Zombies World War Z is a great little book. It definitely captures what a zombie holocaust would be like. The movie is in the works. I'm not sure how they plan on scripting it but I am hopeful it will kick ass!

Re: DNCIAP: AMC's Walking Dead Trailer Saw this earlier today and looks really good. Looks to be a mixture 28 days later/dawn of the dead/all zombie movies/etc. Curious as to how they will make it different though also cool that it debuts on Halloween.

Re: Zombies The book was just terribly written but I'll be damned if it wasn't entertaining as hell Can't wait for this series. Season finale shot has to be the main character with a gun trained on his zombie wife. Gunshot. Fade to credits.
