Playing in Red Rocks. Grab a scenic loop reservation and do the Calico Tanks hike. It's a good out- and-back hike that will give you an outstanding view of the strip from the overlook at the end.
Chainsmokers at EBC especially if you're trying to meet girls. Marshmello and Gryffin at XS will both be slammed though.
Its for my GF's birthday. Only reason Im contemplating it. I'd rather sit in the lounge at Encore and watch Marshmello walk by at like midnight and then go to bed
It's Vegas, these two items are pretty congruous. Martin Garrix is at the new Tao property Palm Tree Beach Club that date also.
It’s a cheat code for pulling a woman that night. Host gets a VIP table for me, white man stands out, black woman come and hang out and one leaves with me that night. I saw Rick Ross last time I was there.
Ate at Best Friend which is always 10/10, just sat in the bar and had tacos and wings. Peppermill for breakfast was fun for the vibes. Video poker at the bar top is what got me way too many free drinks.
I’m square as square gets, so my Vegas routine now is to be up early-ish, like 7, grab a drink of some sort (sometimes booze, sometimes just caffeine or hydration), and take a walk in the relative peace and quiet. Usually grab breakfast, maybe a bit of gambling, and head back to the room to reset for the next part of the day. Could be more strolling or some gambling, maybe getting out away from the strip and up to Charleston or Red Rock, or just cruising out to an off-strip place or meeting local friends. Then back to nap and dinner, drinks, gamble, show or whatever until sometime between 11 and 2 or so for bed. I gamble significantly less as a portion of my budget/disposable income as I used to, but still more in total. I invest in a suite level room at a tier 1 or 2 hotel instead of throwing that same cost at a comp at flamingo or some shit. Having a nice place to be beats the ol’ just a crash pad method. Tried the club scene a few times, and it just isn’t my thing as an awkward and socially anxious individual. I also usually travel solo for 4-5 days and meet local friends off and on. Wife is burned out on LV since we lived there and really, I just enjoy the time to myself.
our flight doesnt get in till 9:30pm, So we probably wont get there till 11:30 or midnight. No need for bottle service/table. Whats the preferred tip amount?
I wouldn't say there's a definitive answer to that, $200 for door is a reasonable expectation if they're walking you in and giving you drink tickets on a friend referral. Heads up, XS and EBC will pat you down and go through your girl's purse even if you're on a table at entry so if you have anything you would prefer not to be found on you at a casino property put it in your sock.
We haven't felt it yet but the champagne/wine situation has the potential to be disastrous for Vegas nightclub/restaurant profitability.
I'm going to assist in any way I can for y'all but sober trip for girlfriend's birthday weekend in Vegas is wild decision making. Obviously supportive, that's just a lot to have to deal with usually.
What are the dates you're going for? MLS is currently on a different stratosphere than myself as I'm just now waking up for a tax call and the girls appear to have gone through at least two bottles of wine. There will be several dayparty and nightlife options so where you're staying and timelines for other things you want to do is a pretty significant component to really give significant advice. XS is my favorite club though by a decent margin.
4/18-4/21 at Encore. Just doing one club the first night. Dont need anything else cause we're seeing Dead & Co at the Sphere the next day
Chainsmokers at EBC Saturday day or Zedd at the new Tao Beach if the Mrs. prefers that but you're basically going to get the same vibe at either and one is at your hotel and you'll save about $100 on transit. Marshmello at XS Saturday night. I would love to say Kaskade at Zouk because that's an incredible show but it's not as good of a GA experience in my opinion. It goes without saying Rhino or CH3 after.
If you are ever just in the mood for tranquility plus a great view of the Strip, the lounge here is it. https://www.travelandleisure.com/waldorf-astoria-las-vegas-restaurants-and-room-renovation-11704948
The best place to get a pizza slice is the one staring at you when shit faced and you just need a slice of that pizza
I don’t know about “best”, but I can recommend Moneyline Pizza at Aria, and Secret Pizza at Cosmopolitan, in that order.
I just missed getting to Platinum at the Wynn. Only 45pts away. I wish I knew that before getting back. How dangerous is it to give a buddy a few hundred bucks and my players card. Basically just have to hope he doesnt hit a handpay? racer
