Carbone Riviera will take the Bellagio space formerly occupied by Picasso. The same ownership group as Aria’s Carbone. It will be Italian but a different concept than Aria’s. Article linked below: https://neon.reviewjournal.com/dini...icasso-restaurant-on-las-vegas-strip-3316993/
Busted day 3, lost a bunch of flips AK<TT, 99<AQ, AQs<88, and then ran JJ into KK to end it. I was catching a lot of hands, just not connecting or running into better.
Question for everyone. has anyone given a friend a comp at a Caesars property and they used the check in kiosk? while you are not in Vegas?
My buddies and I do it all the time for friends with the MGM properties. We use the mobile check-in, and just give them the login via our apps. Mobile key works like a charm.
Vegas is a zoo this weekend so I dont have any comps and My buddy is putting me up at Flamingo. I just need to use his ID to check in at the kiosk. Shouldnt need anything else right?
Are tickets for events at The Sphere dynamic pricing? I swear when I was looking earlier I saw tix on StubHub for like $50+ cheaper which seems strange considering the date isn’t for a couple months. Maybe it was a scam.
not to my knowledge. but Stubhub is great about fake tickets. Had an issue at a festival where I bought all three days but they ended up being for 2 days so they just sent us tickets for the other day. Was a pain in the ass going through customer service though
Maybe I just looked at the wrong date/time or something. Seemed weird to have such a notable difference across StubHub.
Realized I will be out there for Canelo-Bud Crawford at Allegiant. Never been to a big fight in Vegas, but I will imagine it will be steep. Might be a see how the bets are going and what tickets are like day of.
I don’t think they are bad. I haven’t looked since tickets went on sale to the general public, but they released VIP packages last week that were around $1000.
Quick trip this weekend that we've planned the last two days instead of going to Panama City with it being a million degrees, bath water of the ocean and thunderstorms. Staying at Encore not comped($700for Fri/Sat night) $375 in Slot Play. $125 in resort credit and $40 in Comp dollars. Late brunch at Jardin. Gonna grab a quck bite before Miznon at Palazzo before going to BSB at the Sphere. Fly back Sunday Morning
Anyone been to atomic saloon? I just decided I’m going to head out in September for a night or two. also. In the Caesar’s app, on some nights it has comp. For the price of the room. But it let me click it. Does that mean they’ll comp the room or I would have to have a comp to book it?
Could you use the resort credit anywhere? We are heading out at end of September and I’m staying at Encore for the first time. Noticed the room came with $65 F&B per night, but it seemed pretty restrictive. Understand why they do it but since I’ve never stayed there I wish they said where I could use them vs couldn’t.
the ones in Egypt have been up for like 5000 years, would be pretty embarrassing if ours didn’t even last 50
That’s what I was hoping I was getting, it came with the booking so I’m not getting too greedy though. I’ve never used a credit, looks like you just charge stuff to the room and the credit applies automatically?
Yep. Interesting history. Good vibe. Excellent cocktails. I used to sit on their front patio to watch the annual Halloween Parade.
It’s getting worse. June’s visitor count was >11% below last June’s. Certainly the international political situation accounts for some but they are deluding themselves if they still don’t believe prices account for a hell of a lot. https://www.8newsnow.com/news/local...s-deepen-as-visitor-count-drops-11-3-in-june/
I didn't like it very much. It's put on by the same group that does Absinthe but it's not near as good IMO. It can be vulgar like Absinthe, but it felt to me like it was sometimes just being vulgar to be vulgar and there wasn't much of a joke attached. I think I've said it in this thread before, but watching any of those types of shows after Absinthe will probably all leave me wanting more. If you saw Atomic Saloon without ever seeing Absinthe, it would probably be a hit.
Any opinions on Sinatra vs Carbone? For some reason Carbone is completely booked the night I want in October.
it is completely open the Wednesday and Thursday I am there. I may just move it to one of those days. Is it better than Sinatra?
Carbone is expensive and ok. Not somewhere I'd use a dinner on personally but I also don't really go out for Italian
During my last trip to Vegas, a friend wanted to take me somewhere different. We went to Capo’s restaurant and speakeasy on Sahara avenue. It’s a ride from the strip but it was an awesome experience if you want the flavor of old Vegas. I’ll go back.
We were at bsb last night too. Legit in the running for most fun concert I’ve ever been to. The sphere was so intense.
I saw BSB like 10 years ago and they were enjoyable as hell then I can't imagine what the sphere is like
I’m going to see Wizard of Oz at the Sphere mostly just to experience it (not a big concert guy). I’m trying to avoid spoilers, but was watching some clips of BSB and the production looked great. I feel like I should take some sort of motion sickness medicine before though haha
I did postcard from earth at the sphere. Other than the storyline being depressing because humans are a plague to nature, the production and the experience was great.
Hoping to do the same thing when the wife and I are there in November. Just want to check out the Sphere
