That is the normal fee but they don't let just anyone on. Staying at an MGM property gets you access but I believe it's only for Monday to Thursday and the weekends are more private
It’s the best course there imo. Absolutely gorgeous. Other aspects, the locker room is basically made up of the lockers of top tier athletes, politicians and actors. Wayne Gretzky and MJ both have $30K golf carts they keep there. Oh, and you get a limo ride to and from the club. Also, you must utilize a caddie.
My best friend's girlfriend's parents live in Vegas. He mentioned whenever it comes time to propose going out there for a weekend so he could tell the parents in person and us possibly playing Shadow Creek as a splurge celebration. I'll just tell myself I'm going to win all that money back knowing full well I won't
Doing Vegas during a football weekend in October. What should I expect? Sportsbooks crazy busy? Restaurants charging covers? Casinos packed?
What are the great restaurant recs? I'll be in Vegas for a work trip and I'm looking to cheat on my diet. Particularly interested in off-strip recommendations because I've never even considered them whereas I've had/maybe will have the places that I regularly hear about like Carbone, Bardot Brassarie, STK, etc. Have two meals to fill. Think one of them will be Lotus of Siam (best Thai in the country?!) but willing to be convinced of better options and would love help for the second.
In my opinion there isn’t a whole lot off strip worth the effort from a restaurant perspective. Others may disagree.
Going to Vegas with 15 people for bachelor party Labor Day. Guy in the group goes a decent and booked pool party at encore, Sunday and table at crazy horse Saturday, staying at the Venetian. Crazy horse decent? Safest way to get an escort? Couple people have said they are getting one-rooms are connected don’t want to wake up with all our shit stolen from her and her pimp because some blackout fuck tried to get his dick wet. Need to send out a PSA in the group text.
That’s the goal, but given the group being drunk degenerates I could see it happening then say screw it when they get up to the room and piss the classy broad off and cause a scene.
Just jerk each other off in the room before you go out for the night. It’s all good as long as you don’t make any eye contact.
i feel like two rooms worth of people is the max to make a good trip out of vegas without it devolving into chaos. Could probably be doable if you have more than 8 if they're like-minded individuals but it gets harder and harder the more people you have.
In town for a bachelor party next week. We’re gonna go to some dumbass club Saturday night but what else should we do there? also please provide recommendations for a v good steakhouse
They have 2 restaurants now. One is on Flamingo, a short distance east of the Strip. The brand still maintains it’s quality from what I’ve heard.
i know what you're thinking, it's on travelzoo/groupon, that's probably not good. it is tho. 30 minutes open bar, decent liquor selection, cool views of the strip and the mountains in the distance good way to start an evening before gambling or based on your crew, clubbing https://www.travelzoo.com/local-dea...103/High-Roller-at-the-LINQ-Hotel-and-Casino/
I will echo the High Roller HH thing. It's legit. Go as late as possible during the "daytime" window and save the $$ while still getting quasi-night views (depending on the time of year you go, might be SOL next week). In my experience they pour them strong and give you a roadie to leave with so don't pregame too hard before it or you'll be beyond fucked up afterward.
Delmonicos is a fantastic steakhouse in the Venetian. I will be in Vegas as well. If I see a bachelor party I'm just going to start yelling hipsterjoe until somebody responds. I've been meaning to try one of the ice bars in Vegas while I'm out there, and haven't gotten around to it, maybe this time. Someone on here will probably say they're not worth it, but they look pretty cool and it seems like a fun thing to do with a bachelor party. Depending on what type of guys you're going with, some of the pay-to-enter pool parties are fun out there, I did one on a bachelor party a few years ago and it was...interesting.
I wouldn’t care if someone dissed it. Vegas trips are individualized. It’s your trip. Those ice bars wouldn’t be in business if nobody enjoyed them.
The ice bars are an interesting novelty, but just that, a novelty. After about an hour, I'm ready to go gamble or drink at a normal bar. And at least in my experience, it's not like it's a clubby area where you can meet women or whatever. You basically just sit there and hang out.
5 cent happy hour at Margaritaville Casino (attached to flamingo). They have a bunch of beer pong tables right next to the bar where they give out the beers.
Thursday specials at ARIA: hit up Julian Serrano for happy hour sangrias. They are delicious. Five Fifty Pizza has 1/2 price specials after 9:00 tonight. (caveat- its Vegas so these things might have changed in the last year).
For an off strip bar, go to ReBar. It's a cool bar in an antique shop that has a mystery bottle deal. It's pretty chill but a cool spot. Valveteen Rabbit is across the street for cocktails and I think there's a brewery right there too(according to Google maps, idk) I know that didn't answer your question but that's all I got
hipsterjoe also, check out r/vegas. It's all Vegas locals who can probably help more with off strip stuff.
