I'm an hour north and was actually in Dayton earlier today. Trotwood is apparently getting annihilated. Town 10 minutes to my west had a tornado tonight and a small town to my south as well. But doesn't sound like it was anything compared to Trotwood/Dayton.
In-laws are in Troy, north of Dayton. That got hit with heavy storms, but otherwise nothing major. Sounds like some homes in Celina got leveled, I think a couple houses got taken down there last year, too.
Not uncommon for cell towers to take damage and service be interrupted during situations like this. I remember we didn’t have reliable service for many days in Tuscaloosa after 4/27. Hope she’s okay.
In the basement in Dublin, OH. Sirens still going. Columbus news is saying some really bad stuff about scanner reports from Dayton.
cousin had to use a phone at a Walgreens to call his wife, said his phone wont dial out just drops all positives goin out to ya matis
Live in Kettering so the storm just missed us, family lives in Beavercreek. Everyone is safe but apparently Beavercreek is a mess right now. Celina about 45 minutes north of here apperently got hit really bad.
