Why isn’t this a tornado watch in Texas/Oklahoma?
not sure but that one by bowie just went warned again
Looks like debris just south of Bowie
Reed got the hype machine going for SW Nebraska tomorrow.
Jus a few miles north of there is where we were chased by a tornado in 1988. In my rear view mirror I couldn’t see anything but a wall of dirt and exploding transformers.
Eastern Iowa and Northern Illinois looking juicy today.
Apparently the hole in the ceiling and the hailstone are both different instances, but not fake
Marginal risk yesterday to Enhanced today with 10% tornado.
If anyone wants an app for satellite products rather than using COD on mobile (which works well), SatSquatch is a decent app. Like 5 bucks for ios and android. Big thing i like is a better ability to zoom
That looks like the picture of the guys house that got hit by the meteorite
I have enjoyed this app since downloading earlier this year.
Question: Is there a way to get different Visible Satellite products besides Red and Blue? I'm spoiled by the different products on COD. Maybe i am just missing it.
No. Red is the main/most used visible band. The day microphysics rgb and vis/ir combo rgb are good too. Based on visible products. I use similar products all the time
gah, i missed the True Color and Day Microphysics RGB under Derived. Cool app
Going to the Dallas area for work next week. Hopefully won’t get slammed while we’re there
stuff popping off in Nothern Illinois.
Funnel cloud reported on that storm.
Were fucked up here again. Roads were still ass from last
This beast just went tornado warned.
That’s headed for me
jk it’s going N/NW I scared it away
It’s right by me. No funnel clouds.
That's a damn good looking storm. Be safe
man those are some great pics
My photography skills are great due to the iPhone 7 Plus.
It went west of us by a couple miles. That second line was a damn monsoon and windy.
Pretty good winds here in Mississippi today. Between a house in the neighborhood burning down this morning and a tree falling into one this afternoon with the storms, been pretty eventful near me.
What are those rectangular shelter things near the water?
Assuming you know, sorry...
Sea-land containers for equipment for the ongoing switchyard work.
The thing that sucks the most is the lack of cool cloud structures locally because of the fucking death ridge. I don't even need tornadoes to get excited. Just give me a monster shelf cloud or some booming cumulonimbus to see from my back yard and i'm psyched. Just been a bunch of rain and sunny skies. Get your act together SW flow.
Hasn’t rained a drop in Garland, TX since I got here Tuesday afternoon
Who did you piss off?
Lol. There’s a Kirchhoff automotive plant here and we have to do a little bit of maintenance on our machines here. The people who work here do seem excessively stupid, though
the city of arlen, tx from king of the hill was based on garland
Huh, i always thought it was based on Allen
I think its just a mix of most the DFW suburbs
Yeah why limit your source of material to one town
I’ve heard Arlington as well
it could easily be based on the western and northern burbs of Fort Worth alone
