He should get some opportunities this year with all of the different competitions. In other news, I saw some talk about two different shirt sponsors - one for EPL games and one for other competitions.

As part of their tour of America, Spurs' are to play San Jose Earthquakes on 17th July, New York Red Bulls on 22nd July and Sporting Lisbon on 25th July and all three games are to be screened live by ESPN. The pre-season friendly game against Benfica in Lisbon on 3rd August is also being shown live on ESPN.

That would be an amazing left side with Modric and Bale. What would happen if we do pick up Cole? Slide Modric to Kranjcar's spot?

Single striker scares me with Defoe because he disappears at times and is more of a vulture than a guy with a high work rate/otherworld 1v1 talent. Would rather have a better forward alone at the top. Hopefully we land a new attitude Micah Richards, or a player of his caliber. Corluka is wayyyyy to slow to be a RB. Kaboul is shifty but he would need to prove a great deal. Also wouldn't bet on seeing King too much this coming year, so many more games this year, and his knees are acting up again. Great player for Tottenham but it seems, like Woodgate, his time playing is running out If they grabbed a player like Richards I'd expect Corluka to move inside. I'm also excited about Sandro, I know not to get my hopes on a brazilian in the EPL but he seems like a skilled palacios clone.
