Re: *** Official Tottenham Hotspur Thread *** haha im scared for my neck then when i get away from the usual scenery in kansas
Re: *** Official Tottenham Hotspur Thread *** Nah man if a guy like me from a town of 400 in central Pa can enjoy it no reason a kansas guy can not enjoy this city.
Re: *** Official Tottenham Hotspur Thread *** Keane needs to go go go gooooooooooooooooooo would love to see a guy like turan or oezil signed.
Re: *** Official Tottenham Hotspur Thread *** http://www.footballfancast.com/2010/07/football-blogs/tottenham-caught-between-a-rock-and-a-hard-place-over-transfers Good article. Is it worth the risk to invest a ton of money in big signings? We'll have tons of money in the future when the new Lane is completed, but we need the money to start the new development.
Re: *** Official Tottenham Hotspur Thread *** Not Spurs related, but this is crazy: "Since Mancini took over at City seven months ago, City have spent more than the top 14 Premier League clubs combined."
Re: *** Official Tottenham Hotspur Thread *** Anyone hearing/reading anything exciting on the transfer front? Looks like Harry has set his 3 targets as Suarez, Bellamy and Richards. I'd be very happy with the first two and pretty towards an addition of Richards.
Re: *** Official Tottenham Hotspur Thread *** only way to purge the club of hughes and his mistakes is makemoneymoneymakemoneymoneymoney
Re: *** Official Tottenham Hotspur Thread *** I kinda would like the addition of Richards. Guy can play CB or fullback is young and has some pace. The only problem with him is attitude. Maybe first team football on a champions league side would change that. I've been reading that Suarez is evaluated at somewhere between 30 and 45 million pounds way too much for an eredivise scorer.
Re: *** Official Tottenham Hotspur Thread *** I thought I originally read Suarez was valued at 35 but then moved down to 25?
Re: *** Official Tottenham Hotspur Thread *** Some sites are still reporting 30-35 million pounds. Which is absurd. Others say 30 million euros which is a bit more realistic. The thing is, spurs largest transfer to date I believe is in the neighborhood of 16.5million pounds. I can't imagine levy opening the checkbook after building a new training ground and setting aside 400 million on a new stadium for a high priced striker that could be the next dirk kuyt.
Re: *** Official Tottenham Hotspur Thread *** I'm re-watching the Everton/ManCity game from 1/16. I want Donovan and Fellaini! A midfield with Bale, Modric, Fellaini, Huddlestone, and Donovan would be fun to watch. I think Suarez would be a good addition for the right price. I don't know if anyone read the article I posted a few days ago (about being stuck between the need to spend money on players and preparing to build a new stadium), but this is an incredibly tricky financial situation.
Re: *** Official Tottenheim Hotspur Thread *** New signing Sandro called up to the Brazilian National Team, to play against the US! http://www.spurs.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=7505055
Re: *** Official Tottenheim Hotspur Thread *** we need to make a jew version of the deal with it gif i would but i have no idea how
Re: *** Official Tottenheim Hotspur Thread *** West Ham United have confirmed that they have rejected an offer from Tottenham for Scott Parker, with the chairman David Sullivan insisting the midfielder is not for sale at any price. The 29-year-old England international has been linked with a summer move away from Upton Park, with White Hart Lane a possible destination to join up with the former Hammers manager Harry Redknapp. But Sullivan told www.whufc.com: "I made a promise that I would not sell Scott and I will not, for any amount of money, break that promise to the West Ham supporters.
Re: *** Official Tottenheim Hotspur Thread *** Hey you guys need to quit being so :jew: and offer 8m or 9m if you want Bellamy. 4m is laughable. Maybe that will get you Santa Cruz but not Bellamy.
Re: *** Official Tottenheim Hotspur Thread *** Add in the less than7m bid for Scott Parker and the fact that Daniel Levy is currently vacationing in Florida and it is plain to see the :jew: is strong right now. The Bellamy offer is simply because you guys have 36934956349 players on roster and need to cut it to 25, so why not. The Scott Parker move was to just piss him off at the Hammers after the porn king Sullivan predictably went off his rocker at the low ball offer. Finally Levy is in Florida because all Jews are attracted to it's magical powers, it's like the one ring for heebs.
Re: *** Official Tottenheim Hotspur Thread *** lol the funny part is that I did the numbers last night in the thread. We can easily cut a lot without losing any real name players. I think if the right offer comes in, Bellamy could go.
Re: *** Official Tottenheim Hotspur Thread *** I'm working under the assumption that eventually Bellamy will be at WHL. I think Levy and 'Arry want to see if they can get him for ultra cheap considering the circumstances.
Re: *** Official Tottenheim Hotspur Thread *** Yeah probably. Him and Mancini got into again in NYC from reports. Bellamy is a great player but he is a pain in the arse to deal with on the pitch and in the locker room.
Re: *** Official Tottenheim Hotspur Thread *** Good player, but I hate watching him berate his teammates on the pitch. I do not want him at WHL. On a happier note, I got my Spurs flag today. Hooray!
Re: *** Official Tottenheim Hotspur Thread *** I'll put mine up when I move to Boone (NC) next month. It'll be right beside my beloved Gamecock flag. Spurs take on Villareal at 3PM EST. http://www.atdhe.net/21683/watch-tottenham-hotspur-vs-villarreal-cf
Re: *** Official Tottenheim Hotspur Thread *** I'm going to be pissed if I have to do actual work this afternoon and can't watch. Sooo ready for the season to start. Any idea on what lineup will be out there?
Re: *** Official Tottenheim Hotspur Thread *** ill still be at work :C as long as rose is getting time on the left side, im good
Re: *** Official Tottenheim Hotspur Thread *** Lineup should be a closer reflection to an EPL or CL squad. The kids played against Leyton Orient yesterday.
Re: *** Official Tottenheim Hotspur Thread *** I knew I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up when I read Levy was in Germany trying to work out a deal for Ozil. Understandable that Florida is a bigger Jew magnet than Germany.
Re: *** Official Tottenheim Hotspur Thread *** If y'all know of more streams for this afternoon's game, post them here. There's a good chance the one I have won't work. COYS!
Re: *** Official Tottenheim Hotspur Thread *** and if anyone is able to find a replay that i can watch later, it would be much appreciated
Re: *** Official Tottenheim Hotspur Thread *** Jenas just injured himself in the 18th minute. Rose came on to a big ovation. We're playing without Modric or Bale in there. Down 1-0 on a goal by He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named.
Re: *** Official Tottenheim Hotspur Thread *** Modric and Bale would make a huge difference in this game, IMO. We need Bale's slashing/speed and Modric's passing. I like Rose, though.
Re: *** Official Tottenheim Hotspur Thread *** Crouch -> Dos Santos, who finishes a right-footed shot across goal. 2-1, Villareal. We look much better with Bale, Rose, Walker, Dos Santos, etc. than with the first-half lineup.
Re: *** Official Tottenheim Hotspur Thread *** Gareth Bale and Luka Modric are our two game changing players. The team is stale when neither of them is on the pitch. Also, really been impressed by Danny Rose.
Re: *** Official Tottenheim Hotspur Thread *** so what exactly happened? i know our defense isnt strong right now but jesus
Re: *** Official Tottenheim Hotspur Thread *** Our strikers did nothing, our midfield did decently, our backline was non-existent. Things turned around a bit when Bale entered, but that didn't stop them from scoring more. Danny Rose looked good, though.
Re: *** Official Tottenheim Hotspur Thread *** i know its old but this video gets me every time Harry Rednkapp hates being hit by a football
Re: *** Official Tottenheim Hotspur Thread *** That's pretty funny, actually. Harry's definitely not afraid to speak his mind (see recent rant about international friendlies around the first week of the season).
Re: *** Official Tottenheim Hotspur Thread *** robocrouch officially up for sale http://www.espnstar.com/football/premier-league/news/detail/item476773/Redknapp-puts-Crouch-up-for-sale/
Re: *** Official Tottenheim Hotspur Thread *** Aww, I like Crouchy. Even when he's not playing well, he's still funny to watch.
Re: *** Official Tottenheim Hotspur Thread *** Looks like Milan are looking at Dos Santos........ A swap of Huntelaar is the base of the deal..........
Re: *** Official Tottenheim Hotspur Thread *** I'm not sure how I feel about that. Huntelaar appears to be a Dutch League wonder and that's it. Dos Santos hasn't done anything worthwhile unless Mexico is on the front of the shirt, but I have a feeling he could really come on, much like Bale did last year. And I think getting rid of Crouch is a bad move. He's not that good, but we'll need his experience if we make the CL group stages.
Re: *** Official Tottenheim Hotspur Thread *** It appears as thought we've brought on Spartak Moscows GK Stepe Pletikosa on loan http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1299873/Stipe-Pletikosa-join-Tottenham-season-long-loan.html
