well at least they are getting a little more inventive in their fake stories
Seems Putin didn't not announce any changes at their May 9th Parade last night. Many were keying into it expecting him to announce any or all of these- mass mobilization of Russia, declare war, expand conflict, etc...
So sounds like a win to me- his speech was rather dull by recent standards.
Forgive my moment of going full conspiracy theorist, however I could definitely see this guy having made some anti Putin or anti war comments due to the impact financially on his company. Those comments being uncovered or simply someone turning him in, and Putin had him killed. I mean, toad poison?
Anyone know what these things are on people's butts? Is it simply a pad to sit on?
Have seen tons of soldiers on both sides wearing them
i was unaware russia had a shaman problem
Maybe the shaman is the solution?
I’ve heard there are some Clemson men at the front so the safest bet is that it prevents them from getting goosed while looking through a scope.
They must have joined up with the Azov battalion
I would think it's some protection against the heat/flame of the launch...
Join the EU in the multiverse
Double A affiliate of the EU
Is there a streaming only version of the EU
so wasnt the 9th supposed to be a huge date for the russians, feels kinda quiet tbqh
putin made a relatively subdued speech but didn’t announce anything new
We all know the way out is the way they entered. Putin is pot committed at this point with a shitty hand.
Can’t bring in Ukraine until Brexit actually happens. Strict one in, one out club.
Fuck you Frenchie.
EU politics is outrageously complicated and bloated
This fucker croaked from toad juice?
Some posters seem very unfamiliar with the shitshow that is the EU. Someone did an article at some point basically proving that, if you lost an election and had been in your country's hoi polloi long enough, you were gonna be appointed to the EU. I'm oversimplifying, but it's pretty shocking how perfect it is as an example of bureaucracy justifying bureaucracy.
Nice of her to finish up vip at the f1 race in time to report this important news.
I will have this mans babies
Really interesting thread. Goes on a lot of directions though.
Giving those Russian forces the easy out of just crossing back into Russia and going home
Not sure but that'd be my guess. Looks like there's some burn holes on the upper right corner so could be to protect their ass from bits of burning debris as well; hot metal on skin is NOT a good feel.
The US government is quite the dumpster fire but at least we got rid of the Articles of Confederation. The EU is a similar system with about 250 times the population.
Austria loves to cozy up to a facist dictator
maybe that Gavrilo Princip fella was on to something gbr
Can't wait for the "it's time to nuke Lithuania" from the Russian TV talking heads tonight
Hypersonic Missiles Used In Russian Attack On Civilian Targets In Ukraine
By Bill Galluccio
May 10, 2022
Russia of firing hypersonic missiles in an attack that targeted civilian structures in the port city of Odesa. Seven missiles were fired at the city, including three Kinzhal hypersonic missiles.
The missile strikes leveled a shopping mall, a warehouse, and several hotels and resulted in at least one fatality and left five others injured.
"These strikes did not achieve any military aim," Odesa native Oleksiy Honcharnko told Newsweek. "Maybe it will scare off some of the citizens who were planning to return to their homes, but strategically speaking, it changes nothing."
The continued bombardment of Odesa has turned many people in the city against Russia.
"If before the war Odesa was around 40% pro-Russian, now it's 90% pro-Ukrainian," Sergey Steblina, a local designer, told Newsweek. "I'm not going anywhere, and most of the people I know who evacuated in March are still planning to come back."
This is not the first time Russia has used its advanced hypersonic missiles in Ukraine. They were also used in March in strikes on an underground storage facility and a fuel storage depot.
The missiles can be launched from MiG-31 fighter jets and are nearly impossible to shoot down, even with advanced missile defense systems.
