8% of daily need is 36oz. So that means the normal amount of drinking water needed per day is 450 oz. That is like 3.5 gallons. Interesting statistic
And there has been a brutal heatwave in much of Europe (the world too, go figure) think it’s been in the 90s there
In USAF Basic Training they want you drinking 10 1-qt canteens of water a day (nobody does but that's the expectation). So that's 2.25 gallons just for walking around and going to class
so, I don't exactly understand all that's going on in the country of Mali, but man, whole fuckload of Wagner guys got wiped out last week by the Tuaregs. That footage is grisly, jesus.
Tinzaouatène is right on the Mali / Algeria border too. I mean, right on it. Really remote area; probably some sort of smuggling route (ancient trade routes and such), and if Russians are operating there in high numbers, you would have to presume there's some highly shady shit going on.
Mali doesn't need another war, and flipside is the question: who is arming the Tuaregs? But it's alarming how much influence the Russians suddenly have in a wide swaths of the African continent, and they're supporting the absolute worst actors there. They're also heavily involved in the Sudanese conflict (that no one really talks about, but has killed tens of thousands of mostly innocent people).
the Tuaregs posted a picture of their troops holding a Ukrainian flag after the above stuff occurred, fyi
should have been happening a year ago. We've got hundreds of F16s around the world just gathering dust and rich allies ready to purchase F35s pursuant to federal disclosure laws, this poster is a lockheed martin shareholder.
Few things I’ve been seeing in the past few days: Ukraine hitting some stuff in the past few days. A few s-400 launchers, a sub, and a few deeper hits inside Russia. Ukraine is exhausted but seems to be doing improved at the moment vs some of the grind earlier this year. Wagner is back in the news. Both in Africa (30-50 wagner killed in an ambush) and also showing up in Venezuela with this election enforcement. biggest news seems to be Israel and Iran. Israel assassinated hamas’ political leader in Tehran at a facility owned by the Iranian military. Iran is going to hit Israel back…and likely going to try to be a harder hit. US is sending a new carrier strike group there asap and it’s one with f35s. US also moved a squad of f22 into the area. Big question is when will Iran make their move and in what way. Most of what I read seems to agree it will be a lot more missiles this time vs drones where as their massive April strike was mostly slow moving drones (which were mainly all intercepted). Iran will want to hit something this time which is more likely with missiles (Iran will also want to show Israel they can actually hit them with something nuclear capable). Hezbollah will factor in here as well and probably launch a bunch of stuff to keep Israeli AD occupied. Everyone freaking out- flights canceled- embassies telling everyone to get out….The vibes are in shambles.
Seems confirmed that f-16s are now in Ukraine. A few of the early posts were debunked but the ones from today seem legit.
Either trying to circle the Kharkiv forces or force them to retreat out. Ukraine hates having Russia anywhere near that city
12 f-22 arrived at uk airbase before moving to ME. sounds like Israel is seriously considering a preemptive strike in Lebanon.
does the Democratic party being in favor of providing Ukraine weapons - and the Repubs in favor of servicing autocrats - make you vote for Liberals?
