Yea, I know we came into this where we could ‘frame’ it a few different ways, but it’s becoming more and more obvious that this is nothing more than Putin being one of the most evil motherfuckers in a long time. The little shit, always means something, but I think in this case it’s so overwhelming the other way that if you want to try to ‘both-sides’ this you should rethink that position. This is psycho. have a American friend of Belorussian heritage and his family were very vocal in their hate for lukashenko 15 years ago when I spent time with them. The Belorussians have been repressed for a very long time, unfortunately
I thought there were control rods that dropped at Chernobyl. It was just that they were cheaply made with tips made out of a material that would momentarily increase the reactivity as the rods dropped, so since they were riding the reactor too closely to runaway at the time dropping the rods actually caused the explosion.
