I really like these stories, I was pleasantly surprised that here ukrainian language cartoon network is now in the basic cable package (and a ukrainian news channel, but i care more about a sense or normalcy for the kids)
Why would your QRF be any where near the target unless called? What units in your theater during personnel recovery would be undertrained as well? Not trying to come after your story here, but this sounds like some Reserve NTC type shit and not an actual operation.
teach the parents to say “my kid should get more playing time” and then send them to the coach. They’ll really be American youth parents then
I dont wanna speak for him but he's given 0 reason to doubt his word on here. And I'm about 99.9999% certain he was active and not reserve.
The QRF took 6 hours to get there and they were not American. This was back when I was doing work for SOF units.
Highly accurate fire, longer range than what the Russians have, devastating to be on the receiving end. Seems the Ukrainians are already using them for their Kherson offensive (which seems to be making a little progress the past couple of days). Obviously, we didn't give them a ton of them and they're vulnerable to air or cruise missile attack, so Ukraine will need to protect them with SAM (or not waste them on low value targets).
I once saw 6 of those hit a tent and then one of the people in the tent somehow stumbled out relatively ok. Everyone in the ops center just slow turned to stare at the HIMARS lieutenant.
From the article above. Belarus. Ukrainian intelligence reports that Russia will try to involve Belarus in a military conflict with Ukraine through a series of provocations. To do this, sabotage groups arrived in the city of Mozyr under the guise of civilians. They include staff members of the Russian Central Intelligence Agency and mercenaries of private military companies controlled by Prigozhyn and Shoigu. It is known that the plans of these groups include the organization of a series of terrorist attacks on the territory of Belarus under the Chechen scenario. Then the special services of the Russian Federation organized explosions in several houses of Ryazan, accusing the mythical ‘Chechen militants’. Therefore, the Russian game plans to conduct a series of artillery and missile strikes on the Mozyr refinery, civilian infrastructure, and housing estates. During the shelling, residential buildings, hospitals and schools will be blown up. Up to seven Belarusian battalions were concentrated near the Ukrainian border as of June 21. Overall, the Belarusian army has about 60 000 troops. Tonight approximately 40 missiles were fired at Ukraine from the territory of Belarus targeting military infrastructure in Zhytomyr region, Chernihiv region, and Kyiv region.
Reading articles about how everyone’s intel thinks Russia only has a few months before they exhaust their resources (most significantly artillery shells and soldiers) and their creeping advance stalls. Seems like Russia recognizes this and now trying to pull Belarus into the fight.
