Hes been incredibly unlucky. Most of his numbers are in line with his norm, except his BABIP is 100 points lower than normal. Hes just hitting it at people. It'll even out in the end.
Like I’ve said, I’m not the biggest Boone fan. I don’t think he sucks, I just don’t think he’s had to do much to get this team where it is right now. Decisions like this really solidify my belief he’s just ok. We’re basically where we expected to be and I don’t think we’d be significantly better with Girardi still around or someone else. And Sanchez will be fine.

I turned it off disgusted soon as he was out at first so I didn't even think to see if he half assed it down the line. Yikes if he did. I know it took a long ass time for the ball to make it's way to first.
He's clearly not right yet. Boone was even asked about it after his 1st game back when he jogged down the line. Boone said he talked to Sanchez and told him he had to be 100% and he said he was but he's clearly not. He's always been slow but he's not even trying to run right now.
