You guys keeping up with the spin off show Young Sheldon? I didn't have much hope because spin offs of sitcoms don't usually work but I think this move kind of parallels Frasier. Young Sheldon isn't 23 minutes of straight comedy like BBT. For one thing it isn't a laugh track sitcom. But it does replace that component with sincere heartfelt scenes. It does really well at fleshing out the Sheldon character.
He's been compared to Jerry Seinfeld, but I think young Sheldon has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor.
Its always depressing to meet people who think BBT is funny. I mean I know there are people out there who think this way, but its always disappointing to come face to face with them.
