make a thread on the main board dot com
seriously though. it is getting worse every week. this game was pathetic
I have a vast knowledge of the rule book and very little wear and tear on my body. I hereby volunteer myself to be an NFL referee.
Officiating in the nfl has been laughable for over a decade
and it has reached a tipping point
this season has been disgusting tbqh
When you really think about it the worst after shock of 9/11 is the nfl going full rigged for the Patriots.
I mean it’s significantly worse than college right? Why is that?
i swear the nfl sets an agenda and the refs do their best to take it to the full extent
I think in general they hold their whistles much more in college. I do see a lot of bad officiating in college but nothing on the level of the NFL. The refusal to correct calls after replay is baffling.
I'm just glad that people in the media are actually talking about it.
With the new pass interference challenge, the NFL has upheld the call on the field like 22 of the past 23 challenges ...and some have been laughably bad
ILLEGAL BLINDSIDE BLOCK!
Final drive in the cowboys-jets game was awful
6 out of 7 plays had penalties
Protip: stop caring so much about men in stripes whistling at men in tights
it's so bad it gives credence to the idea that it is all by design.
Landry: WHAT THE FUCK AM I SUPPOSED TO DO
OP will be fined $50k for this outburst
one thing I always think about is how stupid and inefficient it is to have the head official go over to a little booth to watch replays on a ten inch screen.
then I watch games like last night and wonder if they're just trying to keep the agenda streamlined and not have another person involved.
joked one time that i can get a 70” tv delivered to my house in 2 hours, and the nfl is using an iphone 4 to review plays
such a joke
I think they're trying their best guys
The one that wasn't upheld? Reversed a Vikings touchdown against the Packers.
Yeah that’s the problem
Is everyone here aware that you can have a touchdown reviewed to decide if the receiver caught the ball only to have to it overturned and the offense going backwards because they spotted a holding/PI 15 yards away from the play at some point in the replay?
Had heard of this play but hadn’t seen it. How do you miss that call?
I don’t blame the refs. It’s 100% on the league telling them what to do and giving them too much shit too look at.
Last night, and this weekend as a whole, was as bad as I’ve seen.
I would love to see this stat tweaked a little - how many flags thrown + reviews. I bet that number is significantly higher (as a %) - the games slow down so much now. Flags are thrown, replay the down (not an actual penalty), flag thrown declined (not an actual penalty), 3 flags 1 play (1 penalty). Add in some extra reviews and we got us a stew going.
Dude is a joke with no sources.
IB is a fraud and a liar
Is that why he’s incarcerated
Not sure if serious...
Alan Lazard didn’t score, so...
