Anyone else watch this yet? Thought it was a pretty good sitcom, Vox ranks it as one of the best 18 TV shows airing right now as well. It's clocking in at a 78 on Metacritic http://www.vox.com/cards/best-tv-shows-hbo-netflix-now/one-day-at-a-time-netflix
Bunp for season 2. It's easily one of the best sitcoms out today. Does an excellent job of mixing in serious current issues at times. Lowest rated episode on IMDB is only an 8.4. 6 of the 13 episodes are 9.0+
I just watched season 1. It blew away my low expectations. Loved it. I also love the actress who plays the daughter. Fucking gorgeous.
Welcome to the fan club, dump. Show is fabulous. Season 2 is even better. People be sleeping on this, easily one of the best sitcoms on TV today.
Season 2 has a Metacritic score of 88. That is insanely high for a sitcom. That's one point higher than The Good Place season 2.
The grandmother on the show is literally a living legend. Rita Moreno is one of only 12 actors/actresses to achieve the EGOT - winning an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony award. Getting someone with those credentials to do a streaming sitcom was such a massive coup for Netflix.
