Getting those 3 on a set must be pure insanity. Can't even imagine a dinner with those guys. It would be so much chaos and just amazing.
pre-credits they were doing the scenes in ASL and silence and I figured it would be only that scene as we got to know the son… but after a minute or two post-credits they were still going with it and, while admittedly dense sometimes, I figured someone would eventually say something… but then figured out that they were gonna do the whole ep that way
How many more eps? Curious where they send this thing next. Seems like it might shift to Tina's perspective in a new podcast about their podcast.
Strange reaction, especially the all caps, as there is literally not one comment in this thread about the show being predictable.
8th episode was great. My energy was the fans' energy when they got to meet the team and help with the episode
Thought the same. Haven't even seen the ep yet, but wondered exactly who Dump thinks he's dunking on.
Yes, I actually think the show would benefit from a bit of predictability, as one of my biggest gripes is they could literally make up anyone as the killer at any time. I like mysteries that at least allow you to try to play along.
Watched Episode 7 last night Spoiler Loved how they handled the episode with no dialogue until the very end, still really just enjoying the show
Lot of great laughs in the episode. Charles reminding everyone multiple times he had sex. Brazos being the safe word was another great joke. Also Oliver continuing the bit about Charles being way older with the he is a fall risk line was great.
So Jan was fucking Tim Kono? And he was gonna wife up a woman twice his age? Weird decision making there Tim.
I’ve largely enjoyed this show, but I didn’t have a ton of confidence in them sticking the landing in the season finale. Very thankful that wasn’t the case, that was a strong finish. Also by far the funniest episode, Steve martins physical comedy was perfect.
That was a great season finale and I can't wait to see where the show goes with the new mystery. Laughed at Oliver saying to Charles "Before you go on about their age difference think about you and Jan." Also Mabel with the 125 pounds combined line was great.
Wasn't worried but that was great and has me really hoping we get a 2nd season. Kinda sad they killed Bunny, she was amazing.
When he thought he was giving the Brazzos monologue clearly and they cut to him and he’s still in the stroller babbling
I like when he's in the elevator dying of poisoning and Bunny and the other New Yorkers are equal parts ignore and UGH, but zero offers of help or concern
kept forgetting about this thread, so i missed out on participating here. but that was truly phenomenal
When Oliver walked in and came face to face with Jane Lynch instead of Charles, I was cracking up before he even said anything. You knew whatever line he delivered was going to be devastating. [pause] "Well I'm not sure what work you've had done, but it's too much."
the whole season, i kept saying to my wife "amy ryan is way too famous just to be there." thought for sure she was the killer, but couldn't figure out how/why. then when she "got stabbed", I'm not gonna lie - they got me and I figured that was her role in the show, and someone else was the killer. all in all, they did a great job. it was right there in front of us the whole time, but they did enough to keep everyone guessing
There were a bunch of twists and turns. At different times you're suspicious of Mabel, Tie Dye Hoodie, Teddy and Theo Dimas, etc.
this show has been the best surprise of 2021 Steve Martin is a national treasure and his chemistry with Short is still impeccable
Just finished episode 1. Sooo hooked. Love the Steve Martin Short combo and Selina is such a good a good change of pace from those two.
I thought it was Oscar Steve Martin doing his best physical comedy since Dirty Rotten Scoundrels Show was a nice surprise that really stayed strong the whole season
Nathan lanes character would maybe make sense as the killer, but I feel like it’ll be someone new next year. Not sure, but I don know I’m excited to see where it goes

Maybe spoiler that for folks still on the way there... Also, I really want NL back to ham it up properly.
i would love for this to go 3 or 4 seasons, and for sting to not be seen again until towards the end when we find he's some evil sociopath killer
watched the show having only really seen the trailer and expected short/martin silliness. pleasantly delighted at the mystery of it and then the big-picture satire. liked the show a lot. would recommend.
Just finished the show over a week. Loved it. Right amount of satire and still really fun. Cameos we’re fantastic. Ali Stroker, Jane Lynch, Tina Fey all great. (side note I don’t think most people even realize how famous Ali stroker is) Steve Martin imagining his speech in the basement was my favorite scene of the show. the detective character is incredible. And I was impressed with Gomez. Her facial expressions I thought were always really good.
I thought It was Mabel? I thought she said she snuck up on her and Mabel stabbed her like she almost did to Oscar early on. She said in that ep she always wanted to kill someone with her knitting needle. And that was a lot of blood to just walk in on a dead body. Unless Oscar did it in front of Mabel? but cops were already on the way so I guess she was framed? I dunno bring on s2
