Don't count your chickens before they hatch. 50/50 we have a nuclear war between now and bowl season.
Really happy for these kids, especially guys like Brown and Blanding who could have picked their school and stayed home to turn things around. Watching the locker room videos is a lot of fun. I bet we pick up one more.
I was only able to watch the 4th quarter on the tv and I was quite intoxicated so this morning I've been trying to wrap my mind around them actually winning that game
not yet, i didn't see it in my itunes until this morning. hmmm... i'll give it a listen this afternoon, yesterday i had 4 podcasts to run through.
Not taking glee in the disappointing performances but hopefully yesterday will dispel the message board warriors who think Huff and Hunter are already Kaminsky and Blossomgame
that PI was bullshit. that was great coverage. likely didn’t change the outcome, since the offensive pi took the td off edit* we can take pertile out for the day. thanks.
I mean. For some reason I just think we're going to beat Miami. Like, I'm not predicting it's going to happen. But if it did I wouldn't be SHOCKED. Mark Richt is still Mark Richt and I've convinced myself we were going to win one of Louisville Miami or VT. I'm honestly not sure which I'd prefer between Miami or VT. In almost any other year I'd say VT but the exposure from knocking off the #2 team at home would be huge. I also just don't even let myself believe we'll ever beat VT again because it's led to too many angry Thanksgiving weekends.
We won't win another game this season. Glad we found a way to get to 6. The extra practice time should help.
Yeah I mean this is the most likely outcome. But we're always close in the 4th in at least one game we have no business winning. Maybe that was Boise this year.
This is absolutely the kind of game good teams lose all the time. Coming off a big win and hearing how amazing they are all week. You guys also have a really good coach. I think Miami wins but it will be close imo. If you're smart you're throwing money at that +19.5 for UVA
Yeah but at least he and Guy are willing to create off the dribble. Perrantes was one of my favorite players ever at UVA but it’s so nice to see some movement on the ball from the point position
I also love hearing the opposing coach say “We wanna get the ball inside against UVA. That’s who we are.” Best of luck my dude.
Love watching Diakite hedge. Same with Huff. He's not exceptionally quick but hes so hard to get around because he's huge.
Biggest thing I’ve seen from the basketball team so far is the willingness to go into the lane and get fouled. No one would do it last year and it was absolutely infuriating. Guy, Johnson, Hall and Hunter all doing it with regularity.
