I own a nightclub in Hollywood if you want to PM me and come through.
Have friends going to Exchange tonight for Nora En Pure and another group going to Gold Diggers if it's either of those lol
I may go to Lubitsch tonight but probably not feeling clubs
Oh she’s goooood
Clubs in general
Someone hang out with me at a place that’s not a club
Get an Uber to Long Beach and I will meet up with you
Oh boy that’s far
Ok, I will make it easier, I will meet you in Downtown Long Beach
I once got kicked out of this bar on a college football Saturday. It was late in the night after a long day of drinking and my friends wanted to go there. We took a bunch of shots and the last one was disgusting. I leaned under the bar and spit to get the taste out of my mouth. Bartender was pissed and waved for the bouncer to come kick me out. Shouldn't have done it but I did it reflexively and was real drunk. Truly though I didn't think it'd be a big deal considering, as you and others attested above, the ground is slushy and extremely dirty as is.
This happened over 5 years ago and I'm still mad about it.
Well now I’m just offended.
But seriously I'll be drinking somewhere in Hollywood.
At a viewing party for the Ole Miss/Vandy game right now, which may be the closest thing to a public display of rock-bottom I've ever attended.
You live in LA and work in the bar/club service industry. I don't believe this.
Long story but yes.
Yeah, that place was great. Miss the $6.50 schooners. Its replacement, Tower 12, is an ass factory but soulless and cliche.
Let's talk grand opening
Eathan - you need this in all your bars/clubs:
Definitely sounds like he fucked that robot.
That’s the most Hollywood looking Sports bar I’ve ever seen in my life.
Where/what type of POS system are you running?
Oh, just you wait until you see the renderings for the west hollywood location.
Aloha is always my preferred, but I've used pretty much everything at this point.
I mean it definitely looks like it works in LA. I’d just laugh if someone did that in Atlanta.
LA or Vegas it works
What's funny about this is I had to go to Atlanta for thanksgiving so I hit all the sports bars there just for general market research.
That overhead bar and liquor storage is 100% poached from Industry Tavern in Atl, that's why those renderings aren't as refined yet.
But yea, people would think the place looked too expensive or stuffy in a lot of markets.
Oh yeah that makes sense going back and looking. Industry does a good job of playing fancy(most expensive condos in Atlanta are upstairs) but also playing down to anyone. One of the very few places in Buckhead you would find me.
Already building a 2nd?
I've always heard to wait 2 years until opening another establishment
Where is the Weho location?
in front of Bill Cosby’s star on the walk. The bar is going to be called Full Contact.
He bought The Abbey iirc iyam
I wish, that place murders it.
Yes, we’re doing Hollywood in Feb then hopefully will have weho open by football season next year.
Plus 3 other concepts within a block of the Hollywood location. Trying to pick up as many leases as I can on Cahuenga corridor before all these hotels get finished.
Damn dude, you take on investors or loans for this? Or should I ask to be adopted by you?
What are the WeHo cross streets? Pleassseeee stay away from Sunset between Crescent Heights and La Brea. I've seen so much shit turn over in that area. (I'm sure you know much better than me, but damn it seems like every bar/restaurant that opens there closes in 6 months.)
Let me know if you need a CPA.

Open one up in Long Beach imo
Seems those benches will never get used during games and just piss off ppl trying to watch the TV
Place looks classy tho
This seems pretty rude to call the man’s system a piece of shit...
I think the concept is to rent out that entire space, so it wouldn’t be awkward since you know the people in the stadium seats.
But if not, fuck getting seated there and a bunch of randos are seemingly staring right at you.
With the viewing angle and distance from the screens it doesn't block anyone in the front row.
Believe me I've measured that shit out with our AV company and GC 100 times. lol
Yes, I moreso expect it to be utilized for overflow of the groups already sat in the stadium part.
For instance, when I go with a couple people to watch a game and then a bunch of people come meet us later, many of which (it is LA) don't give a shit about the game.
But there will also be TVs viewable for the people at the bench, located behind the stadium area.
The bottom of that TV can't be more than 3.5 feet off the ground, no?
where does one who is sitting in the stadium area place his food and drink?
