Spoiler About halfway through the season, it all kinda felt exhausting. Supposedly there's two more seasons of this, but I found it hard to get interested in each character's stories anymore. Flashbacks have now gotten totally unnecessary and the characters have basically continued to be who they always were. I found myself, on several occasions, wishing Suzanne's character would be written off the show. And as much I like Taystee's character, her constant moralizing about Poussey became ridiculous and tiresome. I still consider OITNB a good show, but I don't know how excited I am for more of it.
Enjoyed the season. Would have been fine with me if they had shown the pool brigade getting taken out (to see how the riot crew handled the situation) and then series is over. Not sure where they go with at least two more seasons of this. At least Piscatella got what he deserved though.
The woman who plays Maritza - Dianne Guerrero - is on the current season of Superior Donuts on CBS. She's unsurprisingly looking p good.

I forgot that this was one of the first big Netflix Originals and basically helped grow their business but what it has done for LGBQT+ and minority actresses is tremendous
