I don’t keep up but what happened to pita pit? They’re all closed down now but I thought they were all immensely popular?
I think the overall experience on Hagrids is the best but I think Velicoaster is a better “pure” roller coaster
I understand that perspective and agree if we're differentiating like that. I need to ride it again. My first (and only) impression on Velocicoaster is that it's pretty comparable to Cheetah Hunt at Busch Gardens, which is also pretty great.
Even chuds don’t want to make their kids completely unable to function in society. Remember Seminole county is very middle class and has some really good schools. They’re not trying to fuck that up
Going to a conference in January at the hotel/conference center that's in the Florida Mall. Any good recs for that area for eating & drinking? Or do I just need to gtfo at night and head downtown?
First day of conference. Had this for lunch today. Where should we go for dinner tonight? There's 4 of us. Nothing fancy, something in the $15-$25 per plate range.
The answer for anyone out of town for dinner is one of the many Kobe’s Japanese Steakhouse. it is the goat hibachi teppanyaki place in the world.
Was actually going to suggest this for tomorrow or Saturday night if no one wants to do downtown or City Walk
There is one at the end of the road that I live on. And another one in Altamonte. So much food. So cheesy but so good.
My childhood store is Kirkman. I lived 20 mins from there (in Windermere) growing up. My gf (now wife) and I would go when we were 16-18 and eat dinner there almost like 3 nights a week there when they had a 2 for 20 special. Soup, Salad, Rice, Noodles, Vegetables, Chicken, and Steak in huge portions for two people for 20 bucks. We live in Boca now and still go out of our way to find reasons to visit the family in Orlando for Kobes dinner.
Why go there when I can go to yabis. Same great food, but for a lot cheaper and no one cooks in front of me
Why is that? Only way I can put up with that fucking place is heavy amounts of alcohol or weed. Disney sucks
To be honest I had no idea what any plans are I just drove by it today thinking “what the fuck could they possibly do with that”
Can I get a recommendation for somewhere casual but delicious to eat near downtown, please? Points awarded for uniqueness.
