Stopped at level 18 World Tier 8. Game is no joke difficulty wise especially solo. Still hunting my first legendary.
Servers been down all afternoon. Apparently there’s some big time issue. I imagine it’ll be fixed but I was hoping to get 2-3 hours in.
Enjoyed the demo. Just got to expeditions earlier. The crafting system and skill tree has me pumped to play this game for a while. Nice to have a game you can solo almost everything.
I should of qualified that. I just blew through at tier 5 with devastator. I plan on running through full campaigns with other characters fully later on.
I'm level 18 at WT 8 as a Pyro. Shit ain't easy solo especially when you get mobbed by multiple elites.
I got to play a lot yesterday with no issues outside of some minor stuttering and had a ton of fun. Now i just want to be able to play period.
Once PC launched at noon the issues started. Hopefully they will be up soon. Really want to grind. Also dev looks like it was a mistake in hindsight. Doesn’t seem to have bullet multiplier damage output that others have. But we will see. Looking forward to the grind.
I played on PC from about 9pm-2am without any issues. I'm running Trickster class since that was the one in the beta i enjoyed the most. It's really high risk high reward and i get my ass handed to me when multiple elites spawn. On world tier 7 and i think I'm level 14.
Spoiler I don’t think I’ve seen a quarry, the expeditions rotate on login once you get to end game. This one was the Marshland Caverns.
Spoiler Gotcha, that’s just a coincidence. An expedition is just the name for end game missions. It explains it all after story mode. Sorry for the confusion.
Tip on legendary weapons. Spoiled just to be sure. Spoiler keep all legendaries for now. Until you see the crafting/ upgrade system. Don’t want to spoil anything but hang on to it until you finish the story.
Planning in starting this but trying to decide where to play it. PS5 vs PC. Anyone played in both? I’ve gone through the prologue and first mission on the demo on PS5.
Played ps4 and PC. Ps4 runs really well pc they are still trying to fix the microstuttering. I would recommend the ps5 because they still haven't worked out how to get crossplay from pc to console working
That would be nice and an offline mode but at least they have been on top of it when it comes to server issues
How is it solo? Love the Diablo games since you can do everything solo and it isn't a hindrance at all
Everything in the game can be done solo. There is the last Expedition (eye of the storm) that has been done solo but is meant for a team. Unlike other games, there is no loot you cannot get as a solo player. Spoiled: My current end game. Spoiler End game has a new tier that is not World Tier. It is like your world tier and goes up as you progress through expeditions. I am Tier 5 right now. Solo is a challenge because you have no revives like group play. I am also a Dev, which is tougher to build than other types right now. But I find the grind a lot more enjoyable than other games.
Depends on the class but as long as you kite and combo your skills including using your correct healing for that class you will coast until about WT8. I'm level 23 and 3/4s away from WT11 if I get surrounded especially by melee rushers I die in the blink of an eye.
Tips for new players: Once you unlock crafting craft early craft often all the materials you put into crafting a weapon if you break in down later you get all that back. Know your classes healing condition each class has a different one Make sure you know your classes interrupt skill and learn to know what attacks on bosses/mini bosses you can use it on. Interrupting a skill could be the difference in defeating that boss.
Get it come play with me I don't have many to play on PC with. I am 33 hours in doing all the quest/side quests ect still haven't finished it yet.
Yes it just scales down my damage and the world tier so my loot is capped hard but I still have my skills, mods ect
Still trying to do every mission/side mission/hunt ect 45 hours so far WT 11 and Level 28 3 legendary weapons so far 2 from main quest and 1 from a big side mission
I hit 15 today I think. Gonna beat the main story solo I think and then group with you homies for some expeditions. I typically can only group play late at night like 1030-11 to 1am EST. But I’m able to play off and on during the day.
Hit level 23 and almost at WT 10. This game is pretty damn good. I still don’t know why they have the “double tap in a direction to roll” component on by default.
Yeah that really doesn't make sense. I have the phantom walk mode so I blink instead of roll and can go through enemies it has saved my ass so many times. Just hit level 30
Techno, here. I am trying a Sniper/AR build, using the venom bullets. The cut scenes are terrible, and it's buggy at times, but the gameplay is A+
