matchmaking was weird today, hit 30 and was constantly in games with ~lvl100 guys consistently, even when rematched is 30 like the cutoff? cause was rarely in matches with >50 when sub 30
It should be skill based, were you winning a large amount of matches beforehand or just consistently doing well?
I've been running into a bunch of really, really good zaryas today. Those are the worst, especially when your team keeps pounding into the shields and charging her up to 100%
games interesting in that the more skilled players you play against, the group dynamics completely change
Yup. Looking forward to the ranked mode, quick match in a solo queue gets old fast when you end up on a team that won't adapt or change with the situation
got two in a row after posting this one was just money tho and a Dva skin I really dislike playing Dva :(
stopped seeing lots of "overwatch is casual, will never have a competitive scene" posts about it think it may have serious longevity watching from Seagulls POV on scrimmages/competitions they're in is absurd
cutig , OTM , and I played about 10 games earlier. Held Objective B 8 minutes for win on Volskaya Injustries map after derping on Objective A.
End of June. Their dev team just released a video talking about it a little bit, said more complete info is coming soon
A is just really hard to hold if they even get a foot inside the front bottle neck, wide open, lots of areas to flank to.
We played again and spit our group up because we had so many peeps. Ready for the 10 player maps..lol
Didn't know that... By the way, the message I shot you last night was supposed to have a question mark at the end. I realized later that without the "?" it probably sounded like I needed a 3rd.
Whole hand accuracy with a mouse >>>> thumb on analog stick accuracy. It would be unfair when it comes to using any sort of accuracy based character (so almost all of them). It's ridiculously easy to snipe on PC compared to console, I'm okay on console, but when I played on PC I could dominate a match. I saw the notification pop up, but I was mid game and forgot about it. By the time I noticed it I was about to get off.
Got a team of 6 torbjorn's let's see how this goes. Edit: Dominated. They didn't even get the first point at Numbani.
He's not as effective as I initially thought, but that many turrets are really hard to attack if they are well-placed.
It really doesn't seem feasible to be able to beat a team of Torbjörn unless you have good teamwork going and a coordinated attack, which probably isn't going to happen if you're playing by yourself or one other guy.
Yep, not too hard to take out a turret with a Pharah Widow or Hanzo on PC once you know where the thing is
Top 3 win rate characters are Symmetra, Torb, and Lucio. http://www.gamespot.com/articles/overwatch-stats-site-shows-who-wins-the-most-and-l/1100-6440622/ We've all looked at Master Overwatch as well, but I'd never looked beyond my personal stats.
Pretty basic patch notes there. Surprised there aren't too many balance changes. Figured D.VAs fix was coming with this one
Symmetra is super weird. The teleporter can be a huge boost, especially on defense. Turrets are mostly just annoying. Kind of surprised the win rate is so high. Others make sense.
Turrets aren't hard to kill once you know where they are, doesn't matter on console or PC, it's just the lock on rate is pretty far that makes them annoying.
This article has another nice Torbjorn nugget. http://www.pcgamer.com/the-stats-dont-lie-lucio-is-overwatchs-most-valuable-hero/ "Indeed, Master Overwatch highlights some other interesting discrepancies between PC and console players. Torbjorn boasts a strong 59.4% winrate among PC players, but that number jumps all the way up to 68% on consoles."
Turrets are also do a 20% slow. They are crazy OP at choke points like before objective A in King's Row and Hanamura...
Troll comps becoming increasing regular and annoying. Like 5 Tjorns and a tank on defense maps. 5-6 76s on attacking maps...
