It makes more sense, but i guess they wanted it done before the free to play weekend. Which probably should have been next weekend.
As someone who has played a ton of D.Va since official game launch, when no one was using her. I love it. She got a lot less viable lately with what seemed like a Mei/Zarya combo on most maps, so it's great having her back. Zarya still melts her, but she's got much better survivability right now. However, my favorite patch item is the toned down ults. They were getting too frequent, and the 25% decrease has made gameplay, for me at least, much much better.
anyone planning on trying to get the Oni Genji skin? i'd like it but have never played HotS ever ever
i really don't understand why it's so difficult to get new people to start playing. the multiplayer only aspect? the pretty colors in a genre that is generally more serious and realistic?
tf2 never tried to be taken seriously on console, overwatch is. i don't have an issue getting pc guys to try it out because most have some history with blizzard but the same can't be said for console players.
symmetra changes getting a 2nd ult (massive aoe shielding station that doesn't require line of sight), a new ability to replace the shields (some weird projectile barrier like rein/winston), more range on the primary fire, and more turrets with less cooldown (start with 6, 10 second cooldown)
It's hard for me because there isn't really any thing you are working toward to level up. no new guns, levels of guns, armor, move sets, anything. just skins.
Fuck, how did I not know this thread was here... Add me on bnet if you guys are going to play the next comp season: fsck#1768 p.s. Gin Buckets get a damn computer.
I'd have a helllluva time getting used to keyboard and mouse considering the last computer shooter I played was like Duke Nukem.... Spoiler The original
Did my S3 placements. 2607 :( Everyone in my party basically got within 50 of where they ended last season. One guy was at 3200, another 2888, and then me as Lucio at 2607 FML.
I've literally played Temple of Anubis 4 games in a row to start the day. FML. I hate these maps. Super Vegeta you going to play with me or what?
@lazyt final fantasy 15 was released that's how but really, i did my first two last night. game 1 was a steamroll. game 2 i was put on a team with a 4 stack all of whom picked dps heroes
5-3 right now. Been playing with a 3-4 stack. Matchmaking has been weird as fuck, we get a game where we absolutely steamroll the other team, followed by a game we either get steamrolled, or its a close loss/win.
DVA is totally off the rails broken. even worse than last patch zarya. it's a fucking joke. She's basically impossible to kill unless it's a 3 on 1
she just mans up 1v1 on every hero in the game. she's mobile enough to chase down every non-genji dps. she's virtually impossible to kill. huge AOE ult. bursts through choke points with shield. she's too good at everything.
1v1 dva is pretty simple with Mei or zarya. Outside of that I don't really want mother fuckers downing tanks in 1v1s so easily, especially one that does like no damage.
Most seem to be placing more or less where they finished last season. What's the point of season 3 if that's happening
She's not impossible to kill. She's about even with the other tanks, honestly have to problems with her whatsoever after the buff. I dunno what to tell you if you if you die to her ult a lot, it's so easy to dodge. She goes down to ranged dps pretty easy. She's directly countered by zarya. She's not imba in any way
Yeah I'm pretty pissed at my placement. Started comp at season 2 and finished 2440. Played loads better in this seasons placements, better win % by far in the placement matches and finished lower than I ended the season. Now I'm getting to play with junk in solo queue and its awful frustrating. I feel like I should've ended in platinum and now I'm dealing with attack tjorborn and ppl who refuse to tank with rein.
Gold is such a horrible division to solo in. When I play with my buddy who brings my team score up I have so much more fun because people don't try to force things and play with heroes who don't work.
doing one now. temple of anubis, attacking first. i wait to pick last. tracer, solider, hanzo, junkrat, reaper.
In placements? Lucio seems to keep ppl alive at a better rate than any mercy or zen in my experience. I haven't played diamond or grand master so meta I think gets thrown out the window at lower tiers
yeah, i'd rather just use ana or pick someone who can self heal and not fucking worry about everyone else
Played for the first time in a few months today. Did Soldier get a buff? Seems to melt people quicker than usual. Also, I used to be good with Mcree, but he just doesn't seem nearly as good as Soldier, Tracer, or other attack heroes. Can get picks from mid range, but your aim has to be almost perfect. I feel like hitting 50-60% of your shots should yield better results. Much easier to just spray with other heroes.
