Bastion already has some nerfs on the PTR (reduced his damage reduction while in sentry). These are new updates for today.
No she wasn't. There was literally no reason to not have an Ana. She is/was far and away the best healer.
Ana is pretty OP. She can outheal any support and her sleep dart / grenade is pretty much an instant kill on the OP bastion people complain about. Once the rein shield is gone, bastion sucks.
You play in an entirely different skill range than Odin and I do. Good Ana's, Genjis, Mcrees and Zarya are few and far between in gold/plat
A big reason that Ana isn't as good in lower ranks is because a lot of the time people don't play the right style. Not necessarily because they can't aim. If you have a rein giving you cover it makes your life much easier. Of course you'll end up getting games with quad dps and Roadhog so she's not going to be effective.
And for those reasons it always makes you nervous to see Ana picked for heals. In the lower ranks a Mercy/Lucio combo usually works out better. I have a buddy who is a fantastic Ana so I'm well aware of how helpful she is. But if I'm not playing with him, 9/10 times an Ana pick spells disaster
I have a couple friends I play with that'll get me into a 2800ish team comp and not only do I play better there but I rage about 700% less. Gold and Low plat are miserable. There's absolutely no sense of team comp most of the time and I assume most players have no idea how to play outside their main. I feel like it's composed of players good enough with their main and that's it
I think what separates console ana's from pc ana's are the dps opportunities. Those shots are simply much easier to hit with a mouse. Especially at lower levels, console players just dont have the necessary ability to play her right. If her healing was matched by Mercy I doubt you would ever see ana at lower levels because of the lower margin for error. Hell, i rarely see her now unless i switch to help out a deathball that doesnt want to move. I mean, i wish i could play masters or higher so i could lucio without worrying about heals but thats just not where i am unfortunately.
Hitting shots with Ana is not that hard. Focus your tanks. Should be around 60-70% accuracy if you just constantly put shots in their butts. All that matters when playing healer is positioning. Just stay out of view of the enemy while healing your team. Seems simple, but people struggle with the concept.
I'm not talking about hitting tanks. I'm talking about tiny dps models out in the distance constantly using movement abilities. Substantially easier with a mouse.
Well, you can't force people to position themselves and play smart. If your team has 4 dps running off in the distance, any healer is going to be useless, not just ana. Ana has the ability to sustain and 1v1 pretty much any hero though.
Go 8/10 in my placement. Completely trash the other teams, several 3-0 wins on KOTH maps. Ended last season at like 2000ish I think, peaked at 2400. 1883 SR. Sigh.
That's fine and true. Most time with Ana you're going to focus tanks and usually your secondary healer will handle flankers. The only ones you should have trouble hitting as Ana should be traced and Genji.
We just pushed out a new build with some more changes to test out: Sombra Hack Hacked healthpacks can now be seen through walls for her allies. Zenyatta Orb of Destruction Weapon spread removed. We also have another build in the works, that will probably hit some time tomorrow. This build will include these changes: Ana Biotic Grenade Impact damage and healing reverted to live values Zenyatta Orb of Discord Targeting through barriers has been reverted
Well, I'll be pretty happy if Ana's nade still does 100 heal. Don't care too much about her losing some dps, but Pharah just got a little harder to kill.
Sombra continues to get stronger yesssss. My buddy created an account on my XB1, so I may level that one up to 25 and only DPS with it.

Went 7-3 on placements and placed above where I ended last season.. Little surprising. 2 games away from being out of golden hell.
There were good times and there were bad times (me playing Reinhardt). Thanks to all of my fans for the support. Also, I'm no longer master thanks to routine unannounced maintenance by time warner cable :) :)
