I fucking plummeted from 2990ish to like 2875 or something yesterday. Awful. In other news, my alt, GIRTHANT0R is halfway to level 24. Can't wait to start using that one as my main, and use NomadHokie as the account I play on when I don't feel like getting sweaty.
mccree mains might as well be fucking hanzo mains. that stupid fucking trashcan hero has lost me such a monstrous number of matches this season but people just cant stop picking him
mccree is so shit right now. he's completely useless outside of death balls on defense against dive, even then you need god tier rein play and you can't miss headshots ever. i'm not sure there's a hero in the game who is in fewer less viable comps.
gold mccree's are absolutely fucking worthless because they don't have the aiming ability to actually do anything.
McCree is real good in the right hands, but y'all are absolutely right. The one who has seemed to make a comeback in my games is definitely Genji. The good ones can be a real pain in the ass. Luckily there aren't a ton of really good ones.
McCree needs rein who just isn't in every game anymore. He also counters basically nothing except tracer/genji/sombra. He can still fill the role of dive counter dps but in most other situations he can be easily replaced by hanzo/soldier/zen. Soldier nerfs should help but considering we are likely entering the Hanzo meta McCree won't be taking his spot anytime soon.
acceptable reasons to pick mccree: 1. you're a GM level player who plays only mccree and can hit headshots at a 60%+ clip and communicates with your team 2. you need a second DPS vs pharah and 76 is already takent. other than that, there exists basically no reason to take mccree over 76.
not even sure i would take mccree over widow for a pharah counter. shit, if you have ana/zen you don't really even need a 2nd hitscan. that being said, i've had a ton of success straight up ignoring the pharah. bitch either carries or just distracts.
Best way to counter pharmercy is an annoying dva, zenyatta, 76 ,and communication. Going double hitscan just means that you're devoting too many resources to her and she's already done her job. If you go double hitscan a dva can just ruin your team. McCree is a lot of fun because it's just awesome when you hit those head shots, but for 99% of the player base 76 is just better. Not to mention his ult is among the worst in the game. Pretty excited for the possible Hanzo meta. I've been doing pretty well in the games I've played with him recently.

Hanzo Removed the attack cooldown from Hanzo’s wall climbing ability, allowing him to engage with enemies immediately after completing a climb Storm Bow Increased charge speed by 10% Charged arrows now maintain their charge after climbing a wall, provided the button is continuously held Developer Comments: Decreasing Hanzo’s draw time gives him more overall DPS, while also letting him fully charge an arrow and more quickly return to full movement speed when needed. And, like the change to Genji’s wall climbing, this is a quality of life change that will make climbing feel better.

i've been playing hanzo in quick play to practice up and see if it's someone i might can fuck with after the buff start up on anubis. "i hope you don't suck with hanzo" says some guy. "yeah, i do, but who gives a shit it's quickplay"
Fuck anyone who tries to dictate team comp in quick play. I prefer my quick play with a Hanzo, widow, and no healers
just had the classic 3 dps, torb, sym, and sombra (me) comp. i don't think they used health packs at all. i kept them hacked constantly and pretty much only had healing that i was doing myself. if there's a sombra, please live by the large health packs. thanks.
I think the default is 30? I keep mine at 60 I think. I meant the time it takes from ADS to full charge. Doesn't need to be a quickscope, but it's can annoying having to wait over a second to get 1hks, especially on miniscule hitboxes. That or give the ability to strafe while ADS.

I didnt mute him so i could record it and send it to blizzard. He started doing this at minute 0. He kept rejoining to unmute himself.

anyone been playing 3s since the update? think it's pretty obvious they're going to be moving forward with that and maybe 1s as comp modes in the future. they've done a lot of work on the gametype and the maps are pretty legit.
I played a good deal of the updated 3v3 and I love the strategy that goes into it now. Way better than playing hog, Ana, and 76 every round
