Hoss Bonaventure i still haven't bought it but am open to it. however, i don't really want to buy it without a regular group to play with. so i don't know.
tried some new classes last night, had my like 6-7 I was comfortable with didn't go so hot Genji is pretty beastly tho just have to really manage cooldowns Don't like DVA at all Mei going to take lots of practice
XBOX1 GAMERTAG Dharvey09 Me and the roommate always play just the 2 of us, looking for a couple teamates. I usually use tank or healer so I'm a team playa ;)
Mei is fun. I rarely get to play genji, usually someone else grabs him first. Been playing mccree a lot lately when I'm not 76
Mcree going to get nerfed imo. Easy move would be to not make the roll reload your gun. Can basically take anyone down with stun , fan, roll, fan.
Yeah Mcree destroys anyone up close. The flashbang range isn't too far if you stay out of it he's an easy kill.
Short range on the stun though kinda balances that out. Stay far away from mccree and he's fairly easy to kill, very squishy.
I'm almost always Mei for point attacks. I'm Torbjorn for stationary defense games. Then it can vary. Mei most likely unless the escort really needs a Reindhart or D.VA. I've played very little of the attacking class, but my games don't fair nearly as well, because I've gotten pretty damn good with Mei and timing of her specials.
Nice article. http://overwatch.metabomb.net/gameplay-guides/overwatch-counters-guide-may-2016 Edit: Their hero rankings are interesting imo. I think they are (maybe subconsciously) taking skill into account. Any player that's complained about is tier 4. Fair enough, but if a player is being complained about from opposing teams, then it would mean that they are difficult to play against. Bastion, Mei, Tracer, and Torbjorn seem to get the most complaints from what I've seen.
Nice. D'Va has been growing on me a lot lately. Hopefully they make her crit area while she's in her mek smaller. Still waiting on that Widow nerf, though....
on the right maps and if the other team isn't trying to counter Widow aggressively she can basically win the entire game have to counter her hard if the person is good
>Reduce Widow's HP >Reduce Widow's mobility >Lengthen the time it take to charge her shot. Pick one. I'm god awful at sniping and have dominated games with Widow.
i'm really good at it, Widow and Hanzo are probably my two most played characters maybe not due to lots of shared point maps, those guys not useful on either of those much I'd say first step would be to lengthen the charge, it's SUPER short right now, seen pros use hook to throw themselves in the air to see over barriers, zoom to full charge, and fire, before they hit the ground.
Genji, Tracer, Reaper three characters you really don't want to see on the other team unless your team is defending you well, protecting your flanks, etc.
How much tweaking did they do after beta? I was reading some stuff on competitive and widow wasn't even in the top two tiers of characters based off rate of appearance in a lineup. She's strong but is it potentially just because of the nature of PUGs?
If your counter depends on the enemy team being bad, it's not much of a counter. Plus Widow's ult does well to protect herself from flankers.
There was one for both teams in nearly every match of the most recent tournament. The standard offense comp was something like Reinhardt, Winston, Lucio, Mercy, Widow, McRee. Sometimes Lucio or Winston would be replaced with another McRee.
was watching a Twitch stream the other day and the guy said among the competitive teams the difference from the elite teams compared to everyone else is just having a super elite widow
GT Citroknight. Normally play with a team of 2-4. Eastern time 6-11ish is the best time to catch me if I'm on.
As someone who primarily plays Mercy, not having someone to wings to is death. Did they do double McCree for defense?
For whatever reason I was just on fire with McCree last night and had 30+ eliminations for 5 games in a row shooting slightly above or below 50% accuracy. Flash bangs for everyone.
Finally dove into this game tonight and I really enjoyed it. Played for a couple hours with Gin Buckets and I'm starting to get the hang of it.
I love flying right at the snipers with my shield up with DVa clown613#1878 on bnet. I like playing Mercy/Lucio, DVa/Zarya, Junkrat, with occasional Assault sprinkled in
How many players are in each game? Is this more like Battlefront where it's 16 v 16 or Destiny where it's 6 v 6.
Think I have everyone's contact info in OP. If I missed you tag me in a post. Played tonight for about 3 hours. Turrets + Reinhart shield super combo when playing defense...
