Apparently if you (like me) linked your PC and Xbox accounts that is the bug that is keeping you from getting in the game
If you’re on pc switch your region to Europe and you can bypass the queue almost entirely. This is what I did yesterday and had no issues at all. There was also no increased latency. Also, the new support is super fun.
finally was able to play earlier today and this was my main takeaway.. movement & overall gameplay just felt wayyyy less fluid
OW2 seems like a patch of OW1. Less CC and tanks are stronger. Otherwise just a couple of new characters to play. I think it's fine the core game is the same, but OW should embrace the moba style of flooding us with new characters. Would be cool to have enough for a full pick/ban system with 10 unique characters per game.
Played a few games, is this suppose to be a different game from the first one? I haven’t played over watch in a year or 2 and it seems the exact same
never played OW1. Played about 50-60 games in the past couple weeks and like this game a lot as a change of pace from the battle royale games I play. Super fun when you have a full squad of 5 in party and coordinate player types. Not fun at all when you play open queue (haven't unlocked comp mode yet) and you have 1 tank and 4 dps players. Also very hit or miss on trying to skirt that problem by playing roles mode because you're almost guaranteed to have 1 of the 2 healers try rushing the entire game. A top tier healer wins games easily in non-comp.
That’s why I never understood people that don’t like role queue and want open queue back. It was always a gamble on if you’d even get heals lmao. Not to mention how miserable it was to have to play GOATS comp every game in comp.
