Just started rocking it today, I'm pretty bad... Hard getting a handle on each character. Reaper seems cool. Soldier 76 as well. My best performance has been with Pharah. What do each of the blocks of characters represent?
Attack/Defense/Tank/Support Attack - lower health but higher damage, mobile heroes Defense - Still good damage but not as mobile Tank - big hp heroes good for getting in the enemies face and drawing attention Support - self explanatory
McCree/Hanzo/D.Va/Mercy Mei is really fun as well; junkrat is king in control point capture games. I really hate Bastion. Xbl: Commander C0le

I saw, if the group system was working at launch I would've invited you. It's fixed now though. I think when I got off last night I was 17. I've only gotten one purple drop thus far from loot crates and ton of duplicate whites.
played as a team of 6 on the arcade style mode. 6 pharahs permanently hovering in the air. we lost tho

Reaper is OP. Hopefully first update is a nerf to him. I like Soldier, Bastion, Torbjorn, and Roadhog. All easy characters lol.
he was awesome in beta, but basically being able to 3-shot everyone but tanks at mid-close range on top of his other abilities probably wasn't balanced staring at the purchase screen now. the last game i bought was hotline miami 2 and i've barely played it.
Reaper isn't overpowered imo but if he's close to you and you don't have an escape, RIP Pharah needs more health or armor imo, she's tissue paper weak Bastion needs to not literally vaporize people, I get the counter picking and trying to get people to play more tactical, but it's like .5 seconds to death for anyone who peaks at him set up game is pretty balanced all things considered
The sound design in the game is really good. You can likely hear him teleport and walk once you get the hang of it
Sounds like I'm going to need to roll as Bastion this evening, because the gun he morphs into has ripped me apart a few times.
I've been playing exclusively with Pharah in an attempt to get really good. If the team is balanced out right, she's really, really effective. But if it's all offense, then you basically have to duck around corners and backtrack to health units way too much. If you can stay on the edges of the fray and play the assist game, you can use her to really help out in the one-on-one battles your teammates get into.
Widow, like Hanzo, is considered guaranteed to be horrible and stall your objective pushes if on your team. Lord help you if you have both on offense.
If you have a widow as attack you're in trouble. It's really map dependent too. I can dominate with her but i only choose on defense on maps with good sight lines.
Am a fan. You gotta use the shields to block that damage and power up your weapon, and that ult is ridiculous.
I think I'm team Mei in general, but it'll be a while before I have a decent feel for all of the different characters. Which one is the best tank? The video below says D.Va, but I tried her one game and was horrid with her. I haven't seen her kicking too much ass in the games I have played, either. I also haven't really played with any of these guys... Seems like it's pretty tough: Widow hasn't, but Hanzo has certainly killed me a shitload of times.

Well that's because it's enemy hanzo. Enemy hanzo is a one man wrecking crew with 98% accuracy. Ally hanzo is fucking useless.
She has two short shields with longish cooldowns. One for herself and one for an ally. The shield absorbs all damage, which makes her gun more powerful. Left click is a laser and right click is like a grenade launcher. And her ult wrecks.
