Man... I'm on episode 2 of season 3, and I'm very worried they are going to totally fuck up Ruth even more than they already have. She was such a great character in season 1, and now I'm not sure what they are trying to accomplish, but whatever it is, it's too much. Also, Wendy's brother Ben has a strong southern accent -- just like his sister? Ready for them to explain why there's a difference. Edit: It took about 30 minutes for them to explain. I'll take it. 1 more edit: What was the S2 beef between Ruth and Helen? I don't remember.
Dammit, can we merge the 2 threads? Anyone else think the actress who plays Helen and Jane Lynch could be sisters?
Really can’t stand stand Wendy’s brother. Love this season so far, but don’t really see how the series can continue much farther without seriously going off the rails.
What was the deal with the first scene of ep 2 regarding her brother? Wtf was the picture, or will they tell us more in a Ben exploration video later? Just witnessed the first er... death or unfortunate circumstance. Spoiler: S3E03 Didn't like the way it was done. That's kind of an overplayed trope. She's yelling at him, and she falls down a cliff because he defends himself from figuratively and literally being poked? Lol.
I take it you never watched Banshee? Because no one would talk about former nazi turned cop, Kurt Bunker like that.
Shout out to my town in 1st episode.. They grow virgin ears in Overland Park or Webster Grove or wherever the fuck? It's actually Webster Groves....
Good season. The acting continues at a very high level. Spoiler Too much time was spent on the demise of Ben. That shit felt like a sideshow that wouldn't end
Fuck the brother Fuck Helen Fuck the batshit crazy old bitch Fuck what they did to Ruth’s character Honestly the only character they didnt almost completely fuck up this season was Charlotte and maybe Marty It was like one whole big box of constant wrong decisions The final minute was gratifying as fuck though
Lol would love to discuss what the right decisions are when you're sandwiched between multiple high level crime syndicates and the feds at some point.
Therapist scene at the beginning of episode 6 is pure gold. Loved it. Spoiler Their reaction after the therapist comes clean.
Spoiler Wyatt is a joke of a character, and was poorly written this season. His conversation with Ruth at Darlene's house was bad, and I'd be ok without this storyline altogether.
