ohhaithur the announcers on the late game aren't understanding the down 14 -> get a TD -> go for 2 move "Analytics!"
We are overrated. I love that we are 7 and 1 but we have been lucky all year. The surprise to me is that we are 7 and 1.
Congrats on being the newest person to learn this: https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id...y-nfl-teams-keep-doing-why-analytics-backs-up
Barely beating Cal, needing Oregon State to thrown 4 INT to beat them. This team is running fumes playing one of the softest schedules in the country.
Bizarre how Saban hasn’t set the standard paid six figures to find a guy who can hit onside kicks perfect most of the time
Im drunk and not reading that but I will do the unprecedented and admit I was wrong for questioning the decision.
with the rule change with onside kicks it's basically impossible now because you can call a fair catch even after a bounce
Don't forget how we looked last week after a bye. At the beginning of the season I thought we would lose 3 or 4 games. This take will get me killed but ucla is going to smoke us and the ND game is a toss up.
short version: 2+XP=win Failed 2 still gives you a chance since you can go again Improves your odds quite drastically
But I wouldn't change a thing. At least it seems like we have hope compared to where we have recently been.
Agreed, you are about where we thought you would be with a couple fortunate breaks along the way that may catch up with you these next 3-4 weeks. It's year 1, expectations should've been more tempered (by the media, not Southern Cal fans).
We recovered one against Tennessee iirc (didn’t mean shit took the L) but yeah I know the percentage is ludicrously small. I BLAME JOE BIDEN!!!!!!!!!
i think we're a Utah win over Colorado, a UCLA win over Cal, and a USC win over ND from being in the Rose Bowl no matter what we do versus Oregon St and USC in the title game.
