49 pizzas does seem extreme. Even if they are 10” pizzas that’s a lot. I probably haven’t had 40 pizzas over the last 5 years.
This is just bad business. As a chef-owner, I take a little bite out of every single pie that leaves my restaurants.
I think the 40 pizza things is weirder for the consistency than the volume. Don't get me wrong, that's a lot of pizzas. But imagine waking up on Day 36 and being like... "Mmmm.... pizza."
