Hope you didn't purchase already. They are $4.49 on Amazon and are redeemable through Steam. http://www.amazon.com/2K-Games-4103...=UTF8&qid=1356906896&sr=1-1&keywords=bioshock
You should just be able to put in whatever product code they give you. Worked for me, both Bioshock and Bioshock 2 are in my Steam Library.
I tried that and it didn't work. Which is weird because I have bought games off off Amazon before and put the code in for Steam.
Picked up Bioshock during the summer sale, had played it on console, but was so much better with some good headphones. Put about 15 hours on it in 3 days. I could do without 2. it's alright, just wish you actually felt like a Big Daddy, not a pussy with a hand drill. Worth playing though.
I doubt I even play Bioshock 2 again. The first is one of my favorite games ever and I have been wanting to play it again on PC.
Witcher 2 is awesome, what I wish Dragon Age 2 would have been and Gods and Kings is definitely worth the extra $8. Civ 5 has been one of the flash deals already, I imagine it will be back in rotation for 75% off. Got Civ 5 and the expansion for $17 total the other day I think.
Yeah, it works as a standalone. I'm actually going back to play the first one sometime here soon, I think it's $2.49 right now.
I haven't play a RTS in a long time. I used to play the hell out of them but grew tired of them for whatever reason.
Sounds like me with MMO's. Played EQ all the way through The Old Republic. I can never do another fetch quest in my life or I will kill someone. (DaoC still the king imo)
I have still never played an MMO. I have considered playing The Old Republic since it became F2P. I really wish they would have just made Knights of the Old Republic 3 instead of an MMO.
Don't! It's awful. Wait and see on Elder Scrolls Online next year. If you ever want to dip a toe, WoW is still the best option currently. If you can handle the dated graphics, there's a free server for DaoC which is still pretty active. I'm probably done, I don't even want to think about how much time I spent in those things over a 10 year period. I would modestly guess that I had 2 years logged in time combining all of them.
MMO's don't really interest me. The only reason TOR interested me was because of Star Wars. Elder Scroll Online could be interesting since I love TES.
The nice thing about them now is the leveling is so much quicker. I think Vanilla WoW was 12-14 days played to max level on the pvp servers. Now, it's like 24 hours to 85 probably. The original DaoC pvp servers, Andred, was more like a month to max level. That's not even getting into the Korean ones, Lineage 2 ... fuck. TOR would make you hate all Bioware games. It's like a really really long version of Mass Effect that is repetitive as hell that just completely overdoes the "choose your own adventure" narrative while the choices have little to no effect. It's just poorly put together and the EA influence is heavy.
i'm on steam, don't play any online games there, though. name is Spoiler reeeems i do play battlefield 3 on the PC now, though. currently shopping for video cards to replace my HD4890 , maybe an additional one in crossfire, maybe a replacement.
Just installed the 2gb 7850, a new power supply, and a couple sticks of ram. Played Borderlands 2 with everything on high and it was like 50-60 FPS
I have the same reaction with my GTX670. I may get a second card before Crysis 3 to ensure I can run it on ultra.
Not yet. I have been planning on downloading it but I haven't got around to it yet. I have heard very good things. I am thinking of getting Battlefield 3 again now that I have a PC that can run it.
I have to characters at level 50 and will probably have a 3rd there once they release a new character. I wasn't a fan of the mechromancer.
Never played LoL but played DotA back through the mid 2000's. This board needs more DotA IMO. If only I could get my gf to leave the apartment long enough to play...
nice .. i spent most of today shopping for video cards .... think i am going with the 2GB Radeon 7870 to replace my 4890
