Did Week 1 Strength Challenge: 33 30lb front squats/min 27 pushups/min Did 2 miles at 9:00 min pace afterwards. Have to go slow because of my knee. Time to get better!
The best was on the reddit thread when someone posted this was why he got fired and someone said it was highly doubtful as he wouldn't respond to their request for a certain recipe.
Saw this and it seems cool. Wonder if messes with your warranty? https://honestwillow.com/shop?olsPage=products/adjustable-monitor-arm-fits-peloton-bike
I think it’s just hashtags so we’d create a “unique” one and it would link us similar to “fan of” here. So we’d all add #TMB or something like that so everyone who had it would be connected. I obviously could be wrong but that is what I understand about them.
To do other workouts like strength, yoga, etc. You can cast to your TV and there is a Roku/fire TV app so you really don't need it
i had a ton of issues casting from my computer to my chromecast when I was doing yoga this summer. if you have a separate workout room (with no TV) or the space isn't right for floor exercises, that arm would be really cool
What do you mean? At this point the majority of peloton's content has nothing to do with the bike. So you either install a tv nearby to cast to, which in our case isn't possible, or you rig up a tablet somewhere, or you simply spin the tv around so you can follow instruction from there. Probably the biggest plus of the nordictrack right now.
(ahem) A tablet isn't a 22 inch screen, and half the time the kids are off doing god knows what with it. Instead of buying another ipad, it'd be great to use the giant screen already on the bike. Just like Peloton's competitors are doing. My guess is a future version of the bike will do it, but this looks like a reasonable upgrade in between here and there.
Not trying to get into a pissing contest so this is the last post I’ll make about it. I use my iPad Pro that I take into a different area where I have more room. Where I have my bike I don’t have the room to do yoga/strength/cardio workouts. To me it’s seems like a waste of money and if it messes with your warranty it doesn’t seem worth it.
Dude, there’s no pissing contest to be had. I use my iPad as well and I’m aware of how it works. My question was if anyone knew whether or not it would void the warranty not whether or not you approved. But thank you for adding your opinion to the internet.
And I answered that it did, but you didn’t see since you have me blocked because I made fun of your dumb little school on an Internet forum.
after you said it fucked with your warranty it seemed pointless to me since you could just do everything on an iPad. I guess if he has you on ignore then my post might have seemed out of the blue and not adding to your point.
Yeah, ending a sentence with a preposition is perfectly fine in today’s world. This isn’t 1954, bud. Coincidentally, that’s the last (and only) time UCLA won a football Natty!
Just did my fourth ride and crushed my previous 30 min ride by 90kJ. I took Emma Lovewell’s 30 min advanced beginner class and my wifey kept checking on me with interrogation like I was checking Emma out
Did Alex’s from home arm class with 10lb weights. That shit hit different. Forget how awesome Alex is I’d do more of his classes but Emma
So I got the bike yesterday, it’s awesome. So happy with it. I rode on two beginner 20 min rides with Emma to start, reviews were legit I wasn’t super worn out by it, butt hurts but I know that will go away. I have been running some 3-4 miles here and there as well so not at the bottom with my cardio endurance. I went up to the 30 min HIIT and Hills with Emma again, and that was a noticeable change in difficulty. Thing is great, can’t wait to explore more. Appreciate the people ITT for the feedback. Also team #tmb now.
Been getting into the off the bike content more recently and the biggest issue I was having for the floor exercises was we had a pretty cheap yoga mat. Splurged for a Manduka and holy shit that is game changing. Knees and elbows don't even hurt and it is so much easier to do things like side planks and other yoga poses. Going to be a much larger focus of my workout routine on a consistent basis as opposed to intermittently.
Just finished my first Jess class (the HIIT one from her house) and is she always that batshit crazy? She was definitely crying at certain points, possibly orgasming and does not shut the fuck up ever....almost started laughing during the hill section it was so ridiculous.
Yea, I took one of her classes and couldn’t handle her nonsense. She’s a mess. Those warlocks, though....
