I had this happen to me randomly a month or so ago, only one ride, then I think it fixed itself a couple days later.
I sent support a video, and he said he believe the bottom bracket needs replaced. Scheduled repair for next Saturday. Bike still works, it's just loud.
About to hit a full year with this thing. I'm down 30 lbs and I genuinely look forward to getting on it after work. I used to hate working out. About to hit 250 rides and 100 strength classes. Over 100 on yoga as well. Been worth every penny. Also finally beating the fiance on outputs.
Delivered and installed.Time for bed after working all last night, tearing down a bedroom set and moving it to the garage this A.M. while feeding a baby and keeping him entertained. First ride in a few hours.
Wife and I started the beginners program. Kinda sad it's over now, I liked having a routine and schedule for me. Now I have to pick out classes myself. Adulting is hard.
You shouldn't worry too much about numbers right now. You should just be trying out all kinds of different rides/instructors to find what works best for you. Getting out of the saddle on your first ride is pretty impressive. When I first started I couldn't be out of it for more than 20 seconds without my legs telling me to sit back down lol.
I struggled big time and I can’t even lie, my legs wouldn’t let me get out of the saddle after the first two. I just pedaled sitting down for a while after that.
I definitely look/feel less bloated when I’m eating fewer carbs. I’ve also noticed a connection with carb intake and joint pain (assuming inflammation). If that means my output is 500-600kj instead of 700+kj on a 45-minute ride, that’s a trade I’m willing to make.
cool down ride and stretch. Get a massage gun if you don’t already have one. Do a light ride today preferably a recovery one. It will help with the soreness.
Sounds good. I may just say f it and signup in full now so I can get all the beginner classes available
We didn’t have to sign up for the membership when we ordered. And then once my shoe issues happened I just put it off until I was ready to go. They have 3 sample classes + free riding you can do without the membership.
you miss out on some things but for a bit I got a bike mount for my iPad and used the app with the just ride feature. It saves you 20-30 a month. Doing just the 3 classes and the just ride feature seems to me like a waste of the machine and it would get boring.
My wife is out of town so it’s just me and my youngest so she made breakfast burritos this morning. Eggs, bacon, sausage and potatoes with a little salsa my ma made.
Ordered yesterday delivered today. Don’t think I’ve ever see this quick of a turnaround. Was going to order the yellow ones but I think 3 pairs of cycling shoes is over kill and obsessive. Glad I held out buying these to get the cheap price. Has them in my cart for about 3 weeks when they were 95.
What is sizing like? I wear a 10.5 normally and saw to size up but they're sold out on anything over 10.5
I wear 10.5 and that’s what I got. Have no issue fwiw my peloton shoes were also 10.5 Nike has a great return policy so I’d go 10.5
If they're on sale, grab them now before you need them. They'll cost more with Inflation down the line
Trying to hop on for this bad boy between 10-11 AM PT in between calls after I saw it get posted today
20 Beginners hip hop ride + 5 cool down and, let me tell ya, I enjoyed the shit out of that. The cool down had a few out of saddle areas, and I’m timid/not comfortable with that stuff yet.
Don’t forget to stretch. Out of the saddle make sure you have a enough resistance. I like to be at least 50 to feel stable.
Has anyone tried out the hardCORE on the floor program? It seems to be pretty popular on Reddit and I appreciate that they pick out classes for you each day.
is this on peloton? I couldn’t find it on the app and have never heard of it. Sounds interesting. I just do random strength classes 4-5 times a week
About to hit 1900 now I obsess about live class. There is literally no one that I like teaching anything I assume because of ally’s wedding. So I either do a Christine class or an on demand one.
It's not ran by Peloton, no. There is a Facebook group where the person who runs it all posts a monthly calendar and it seems to be pretty well put together from what I can tell. Like I said, biggest plus for me is not trying to figure out what to do that day. Every day has a core class and then 1-2 strength classes. Today was 10 minute core and then 2 lower body classes that were spicy. From reading the page, it seems like a lot of people do the core, pick one of the other strength classes, and then do a ride. Here's a link to the group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1298368960295466
If you can back track by deleting a class or 2, Kendall's got a 45 minute one tomorrow. I know you're a fan of her.
