This new leaderboard has lined up nicely with my desire to get stronger. Mixing in a lot more strength classes with longer consistent rides.

I got excited when I saw this on the home screen the other day. My FTP is a little over a year out of date. I hate that damn test. But I’m also riding more in to zone four on endurance rides so I need to update.
I don’t really know if I did my FTP test correctly. I already knew my zones, so I just stayed within them when the instructor called the zone. Not sure if I should have done it differently on the test.
Been a while since I took one but the older ones is your start in middle/upper part of zone 4 for the first 5 minutes. Then adjust every few minutes until you can do your peak the last 1-2 minutes. Overall though just really supposed to put your peak maximum current output. Therefore if you fall off your FTP should actually be less than your current zones.
The FTP class is the only class where I quit w/o finishing. It was terrible and I still have nightmares about having to do another. Couldn't imagine having to do a real life, hour long one.
Yeah at this point I just gauge where I am on the bike and adjust a few points and manage by heart rate in each zone. Test is miserable.
I got a nice gain from a solid base (+27%) doing the Build Your Powerzone and I’m not minded to do another FTP for a while. I followed the programme really closely and didn’t look to mix in much beyond low impact rides and avoided strength training on legs during the programme period. Hopefully my FTP keeps relatively consistent as I move away from heavy PZ for a bit.
About 3 months apart. Kinda happy with the improvement. Not where I was before but glad I’m improving. Was my 3400 ride so cool to hear my shoutout
I’ve been hitting the tread pretty consistently the last two weeks. Just watching Netflix while I’m running. Much nicer than dealing with the weather, planning a run route, etc.
just finished a race and therefore the training for a half marathon. Excited to spend more time on the peloton.
So annoying when a peloton instructors humble brag about meeting famous people. Tunde ride, doechi on the playlist (wonder why?!?), go into story about her recent interaction with her. We get it, you have a certain level of wealth and influence.
What are you mad about Bro? I think it is cool and in a 30 minute ride they are trying to fill time. Why not name drop. Scblue
