Been traveling like a mother fucker and had sales meetings which meant I took a few weeks off. Been nervous to get back on it. Did the Jennifer Jacobs ride where her headlights were on the entire time. Her face weirds me out but her breasts look fantastic. Unfortunately it was a bit tougher of a ride than it should have been due to my time off. Gotta get back into a rhythm. Legs are gonna be burning tomorrow.
So hungover today. Celebrated national beer day yesterday by going to an awesome brewery in downtown LA. Know I need to ride because I feel 1000 times better when I do but after 12 or so days straight I just don’t feel it
I recently did my FTP, so I went ahead and started with Wednesday's class this morning. It is true that you lose cycling gains a lot quicker, because I felt pretty weak today. My goal for this cycle is to get back to what my FTP zones were in the fall, because they have really fallen off. My FTP this time was 191, hoping to get back to my 225. Big guy with the backwards hat is very distracting all ride - hes bouncing around the screen all ride. Will post my graph soon
Day 1 Back: Legs feel good. Gonna alternate ride-rest for a few weeks, as I manage inflammation in my knee. All feels good though... off to the foam roller Spoiler All the rehab & foam rolling I’ve been doing has me limber as a teenage gymnast.
How do their shirts fit? I usually wear a large in anything Nike, hoping it's about the same? Also, I was doing a Wilpers recovery yesterday and saw your name flash up on the leaderboard next to me. Not sure why, but I got a good laugh out of the randomness of it.
I haven’t tried it on yet. I usually wear a large or xl depending on the shirt maker. Dri fit I wear a large. I ordered an xl because I figured i’d rather it be a little big than too tight and I didn’t want to pay for shipping twice. I’ll try in on later when I get home and tag you. Also I rode yesterday for 3 mins and .6 miles so I could keep my current consecutive ride streak going and finish in first place. a.tramp caught me. While I am not proud of myself i regret nothing.
My FTP test results. I don’t know how good or bad they are a.tramp can hopefully can tell me how much I suck without laughing too much. I hope to make gains over the next 8 weeks. I will say I gave it my all. It was a PR for a 20 min ride
Looks great to me! Were you able to find the tools to help calculate your zones? If not, I can plug the numbers for you.

Keep in mind the calculations may vary depending on the calculator you use, but they’re generally very close. Here are yours: Avg output: 232 FTP: 220 Zone 1: 121 or lower Zone 2: 122 to 165 Zone 3: 166 to 198 Sweet Spot: 194 to 205 Zone 4: 199 to 232 Zone 5: 232 to 264 Zone 6: 265 to 330 Zone 7: Greater than 331 Your zones 5-7 are beastly! It’s going to seem impossible at first - especially when he calls for a 7-10 minute stretch in zone 4, but you quickly adapt and get stronger.

Keep it up man. You are slightly ahead of where I was at about 1.5 years ago when I finally decided to ride and ride and not stop riding. Keep pushing yourself and you will get there if you want to.
The subscription is the point. Without it why wouldn’t you just get a regular exercise bike? If you spin it’s not that expensive.

w/kg is not my friend. For that matter I wouldn't call FTP my bff either, but we can at least hang out together w/o throwing disguised insults at each other. On a separate note, I haven't ridden since last Wednesday due to a baseball coaching injury while trying to keep up w 9-10 year olds. I, for one, was not trying to insult anyone, be it disguised or not. 3 years ago, I was 230lbs (5'10") and would be gassed after an hour @ 140W. 2 years ago, I was super pumped about 1 hour @ 186W. A year ago, I thought I was a beast hitting 250W for an hour. I will turn 42 this year and am still 190lbs. Pretty big for someone who has done 8-12 hours of cardio/week for the last 1.5 years but I guess that is just my body type. If I can do it, any of you guys can do it. Cycling is very rewarding like that and also a huge KITN. You will make progress if you stick with it and are smart about your workouts. But there is always a bigger badass just right around the corner or a much smaller guy that can keep up even though it looks like he is soft-pedalling.
Just want to make it clear that I was talking about my actual FTP and myself hanging out and not insulting each other. Wasn't a jab at anyone...just my weird self imagining hanging out with a number. a.tramp is always positive and gives great advice. Obviously him being of EMAW fabric those qualities are a given.
