Didn’t feel like a Pixar movie but I liked it. The beginning is slow.
Saw it today and really enjoyed it. Grabbed my boy’s arm during the hug.
saw it today. not upper tier pixar but still good. hits you with the feels at the end.
the old brother should have been played by jack black. couldnt help but feel that chris pratt was doing a jack black impression the whole movie.
Holy crap this looks amazing
I’ve been telling people that its going to be the best
done by the same people as Up, Inside Out, and Coco
unlike Onward, which as the same director as shit tier Monsters University
coco is incredible and one of my favorite Pixar movies
Monsters University is the best non-toy story Pixar sequel
two saddest moments in Pixar history
when the old man goes through the scrapbook in Up
when the grandson sings Remember Me to his grandma
so be prepared to cry
But the brilliance of Pete Docter I will not argue with
ya I showed Coco to my class a couple years ago and I was crying during that part
congrats on being the least smelly pile of shit
I don’t trust anyone who doesnt at least tear up
As I am an older brother, I fear Onward will crush me
also an older brother and it didn’t really do that to me
I have 2 boys now aged 3 & 1... I know that movie is going to wreck me, even if it doesn't do it to others. Never had a brother growing up so I'm going to project the whole thing out onto them lol
They left the hook of the movie off the tweet:
Set in a beautiful seaside town on the Italian Riviera, the original animated feature is a coming-of-age story about one young boy experiencing an unforgettable summer filled with gelato, pasta and endless scooter rides. Luca shares these adventures with his newfound best friend, but all the fun is threatened by a deeply-held secret: he is a sea monster from another world just below the water’s surface.
an Italian pixar film
also they misspelled Luka
Jesus fuck at that Monsters sequel
would have been a better movie than Monsters U still
Definitely but in the I'm really sad and question life like in Up or Toy Story 3 or Inside Out or any of those others sort of way. It's crazy to me some of the most emotional depth out of movies in the last 20+ years has come from an animation studio and been made for kids.
Take her to the moon for me, Joy
That movie looks great
Premier or whatever (like mulan) or for everyone?
as long as you have a sub
Yeah but everyone I meant to say “all subscribers”. I definitely want to watch, but I wasn’t about to pay an additional $30
pretty sure its gonna be free as long as you have a sub
I DEFINITELY wouldn’t have teared up like some gigantic pussy. DEFINITELY wouldn’t have done that.
There will be no additional charge for Soul like there was for Mulan
Can’t wait to cheers Dole Whips over this movie in Hollywood Studios with my boy duc15 , washing away basketball, football, and kinda-sorta political disagreements with next March.
Guys, I’m drunk as fuck and decided to do this here. Love you alll. I think I’m gonna make a positivity thread with my ugly face, soon. Gimme a minute or two.
Soul has a 99 percent on RTs with 75 reviews
Reminder: Soul drops tomorrow
Between Souls and WW84, I won’t be leaving the couch.
joe gardner got covid
Sorry #New York Knicks
just completely sawed down
As soon as I saw the outline of the basketball player I knew the joke that was coming.
Probably could’ve been a short film, but beautifully life affirming nonetheless
Just finished it. Enjoyed it
This was a strange film
Really enjoyed Soul. My 9-year-old and 4-year-old had no idea what was going on.
Really enjoyed that. Not top tier Pixar but felt very appropriate for the time and was a very enjoyable watch
The knicks joke, even though I knew it was coming, was still wonderful
Enjoyed soul.. Not sure it's for kids though.
Does the movie have many songs?
Dad of an almost 2 yr old that is obsessed with Moana and Coco....so I'm looking for anything possible to help the cause even if she has no idea what's going on
